I ordered via Uber Eats , Order number: #8E42E. From the Nottingham branch. The food was lovely but it wasn't very warm at all, I had to reheat it in my microwave!. Delivery was very quick so it can't be that it was cold because it was in the car for long, surely?.. Insulation issue perhaps, not sure but I would Order again though because the menu has something different to offer instead of just your usual pizza. The food tastes good, nice snd cheesy!.

We were gifted a £50 voucher for Christmas and were new to Pasta Evangelist. There are 3 of us, so we decided to order 3 meals for 3 weeks. We got a £10 voucher and put £25 towards it - so about £85 for 3 deliveries of 9 portions in total....I have to say I didn't think it was reasonably priced but as we had the voucher thought we would proceed. We had our first delivery last Thurs (4th Jan) and have 2 more to come this week and next week. However, Firstly, it was supposed to be here before 5pm...we were relying on this for Tea and it didn't arrive until 6.30pm, so we had to cobble something else together. I know strictly speaking this isn't pasta evangelists fault but nonetheless frustrating. Secondly, they made a substitute and the email said it would be something similar. They substituted the lobster & prawn ravioli, which is the most expensive product, approx £10 a portion. It was substituted with tomato rigatoni (meat free), which are significantly cheaper than the dish I ordered IE about £6 a portion. Yet they only offerer a voucher for £5 off our next order. I'm not great at maths but that doesn't work. So I asked they provide a full breakdown of costs. Also, as I have paid for the next two deliveries and so I requested an actual refund as based on the first experience I cannot see us placing another order after the next two outstanding ones are delivered unless the service significantly improved. I received a refund of £10. I'm not convinced this works out either but if they want to lose a potential future customer over this customer service then so be it. Can't say I was blown away by the Tomato pasta in any event and it worked out expensive having to add our own salmon steaks. See what happens in the next two weeks - happy to revise review if required. Update 18/1/2024.... Last week's second delivery was as ordered...shin beef Ragu..... hardly any meat and no depth or flavour. Not worth the money. Today's order....supposed to be 3 portions of lamb. Instead got a single portion of lamb and a double portion of mushroom. And this time they didn't even warn me they had substituted. No refund (considering lamb more expensive than mushrooms). And now have to have 4 saucepans on the gas hobs rather than 2 so increased cooking costs. Absolute joke. Cancelled account and will never use again or recommend. Has not made life easier, just wound me up with their incompetence. Review reduced from 2 stars to 1 star. *Further update...... following email have received some money back which is good, but too late for me to remain a customer.
Poor service
Poor service. Take payments without advance warning after either pausing or skipping deliveries. I paused the account in December and found by accident that a payment was taken just the other night there with delivery scheduled today. Too late to cancel. Helpnline doesn’t open till 10am.

Complete Incompetence.
We ordered Lobster, Crab and Prawn Ravioli: they sent us Plain Rigatoni with a Tomato Sauce ! We ordered 2 Crema Amarena and they Delivered 1 ! We also ordered 2 Tiramisu: having travelled all over Italy this was by far the worse ever! Waitrose do a better version. The Pasta is overpriced: we have had better at a fraction of the cost from most major supermarket's. We had a e-voucher as a Christmas Gift so had to use this company. We did reach out to customer services who informed us that there had been issues for 2/3 weeks and the CEO had indeed been informed but taken no action. We now have a "store credit" so have to risk the same saga all over again, although the customer service agent said " fingers crossed it won't happen again". Good Grief !! ORDER #1474418
