Lockdown saviour and now love their takeaway
I ordered from Pasta Evangelists consistently in lockdown (from Ocado- it was my treat & saviour), and I was really pleased when they opened a takeaway near me. The beef lasagne, aubergine parmigiana and beef ragu with radiatori are our family favourites.
Absolutely amazing customer service
Absolutely amazing customer service - 5 stars! I placed an order last week which was due to be delivered Saturday by Royal Mail. Like from customer service emailed me later that day to ask had it been delivered as they could not see on the tracking with Royal Mail. It hasn’t been delivered due to a fault with Royal Mail and they were so quick to reorder me a new fresh delivery for Tuesday. Honestly the best customer service I have had in a long time. Thanks guys :)
No sauce in the pasta - would not order again
Ordered pasta and it arrive with almost no sauce - was effectively plain pasta with plain chicken. Very very little sauce, tomatoes or olives. Would not order again as not as advertised. Appears to be no quality control.

I recently had a highly frustrating experience with Pasta Evangelists, the lack of transparency, confusing website interface, and unsatisfactory customer service left me feeling dissatisfied and doubtful about continuing my association with the brand. I decided to pause my plan temporarily due to personal circumstances. To my surprise, despite the plan being paused, I received notification of food deliveries. This confused me, as I expected the service to be on hold as requested.I contacted customer service to resolve the issue. During my call, I was informed by a representative that I apparently had two plans active, which I was unaware of, why would I want two pasta plans?!. According to them, this can happen if you accidentally click the "Shop Now" button on the website. I must admit, this explanation was perplexing, as I was not aware of having two plans in the first place. The website's interface did not clearly indicate any such arrangement in my account details. To exacerbate matters, the customer service representative acknowledged that this was a known issue with their website. However, they were unwilling to take responsibility or provide a refund for the unintended deliveries. This lack of accountability and refusal to rectify their mistake only served to erode my confidence in the brand further. As a result of this frustrating experience, I am deeply disappointed in Pasta Evangelists. Their unclear account management system and unhelpful customer service left me with a negative impression. I do not feel confident in the brand's ability to rectify their mistakes or provide satisfactory solutions to their customers. As a result I am now about to take delivery of food I haven't chosen but have to pay for. Personally, I will not be ordering from them again, as my trust in their brand has been significantly diminished. Update: After I posted this review Past Evangelists reached out and did provide a full refund.

Absolutely brilliant customer service
Absolutely brilliant customer service, with very quick responses and they worked hard to make sure I was 100% happy with my purchase. The food was excellent, and very quick and easy to prepare.
Just not worth the associated hassle
I have cancelled my plan with the company. There have been several times the box hasn't arrived, wrong items sent, items missing. Each time involves phone calls to customer service who are often less than helpful. Today I rang to advise royal mail have delivered all mail at lunch time but not the box and the tracking of the box clearly states that it is still in London when we are in Northern Ireland. They refuse to refund the order until 9pm tonight so I have to call back to confirm that the box has indeed not turned up. The pasta is amazing but the other issues and the constant need for multiple calls regarding problems makes it not worth it. It was to help with busy work life but now only creates more hassle.
