A++++ customer services!
I received a gift card from work which I used to order a few meals for my partner and me. The food was delicious and went down a treat. A few different vegetarian options would be nice - but what I had was very tasty. I had accidentally signed up to a subscription (I’m sure it was very clearly written) and was able to cancel my order, subscription and get it refunded in less than 3 minutes by a very pleasant and helpful customer services agent. It was a very thoughtful gift and I won’t hesitate to offer this to somebody else and if I have the disposable income I’ll probably treat myself and my partner again.

**Updated review ** I have received a really lovely email from the founder and I have been offered a replacement meal so I am very happy to order again and expect this was just an “ off night”. As I mentioned in my review I had eaten a truffle pasta before which was absolutely amazing. To blue squirrel you are not the only authority on Italian food - this is a forum where we are all entitled to express our opinions, not just you !! I shall order again and review and really appreciate the care and attention from this company
I can not recommend Pasta Evangelists…
I can not recommend Pasta Evangelists enough. The food tastes fresh, huge portions, and they taste genuinely Italian. A portion lasts me 2-3 meals, and they have lovely extra touches. I have been given extra little touches as gelato for free, and all the food is delivered in separate containers for you to mix to your taste. The drivers are lovely, and the delivery is very fast; with food arriving hot! I have seen people moan about lack of sauce...Pasta Evangelists food is authentic Italian; if you want the sloppy British version with extra sauce, there is an option to pay for that. Italians do not serve their pasta swimming in sauce! Of note, I ordered from them directly today, having previously ordered via Deliveroo...I recommend using them directly. Just as speedy & they were generous with extra free little gifts. Highly recommended!
Customer Service!!
Well I haven’t got so far as the food yet. I wanted to order gift cards for my son and daughter-in-law’s anniversary. Was hoping to email to arrive on the day so emailed Pasta Evangelists to ask if there was an option to select date before paying. Was informed - ‘We have a processing and delivery timeframe of 3-5 business days for our gifting products, so if you order one of our gift certificates, you won't be able to add the date when you'd like it to be delivered’ So, as anniversary 5days away ordered today. Only on receipt of confirmation of order did I find it would be delivered within 20 minutes and I had clearly stated it would be by email. Also no opportunity when ordering to check details before paying and no details of order on confirmation. They have been delivered but it would have been good to know in advance as I would have ordered on the day. Surprise somewhat spoiled. On reading the recent reviews below am not reassured, the gift cards will probably just be used for one off orders and reports of problems with this and entering gift card details are very disappointing. If they do encounter any snags I shall regret offering such a gift Pleased to say has now been successfully resolved and, seeing replies below, must congratulate Pasta Evangelists and their excellent response times
The pasta and sauce are authentic.
The pasta and sauce are unique and delicious and certainly more authentic than you’d buy in a supermarket. I purchased directly on a two weekly scheme and it was delivered in an eco friendly package on the day I wanted. An all around excellent quality service.

They're liars, much cheaper on ocado and ordered many times on deliveroo to find out its a microwave meal and often cancelled. Rubbish
I had really high expectations given…
I had really high expectations given the reviews The portions were adequate but sadly lacking enough sauce. Very dry. Very disappointed. Wild boar ragu tasty but not enough of it
Initially slow but a great customer services response
The order was placed by my daughter and sent to me, initially there were several missing items and customer services were slow to respond and rectify. However, very kindly Pasta Evangelista have given her a full refund and sent a pasta cooking gift (to me) by way of apology, so more than adequate response in the end. The food was absolutely gorgeous as well and I would definitely recommend it wholeheartedly.
Don't expect your full order to arrive
Updated to reflect that they have now processed the refund and called back - this call was much more pleasant and the person more understanding but the below is still valid. In the first home order only 2 of 12 items arrived. Terrible customer service said they would come back to me via email - which they didnt. Offered apologies but no assurances the next order would come correctly. Order arrived this time with a grand total of 3 things which they seemed happy about, I however was not as that still left 7 items missing from the second box. Kept saying they have a strict packing process and it was a one off - clearly this is false. Now are refusing to give a refund for the order - as some items arrived across two shipments and two days. As with the last day of chasing them are quick to fob off a customers concerns by claiming they have flagged the issues. Most companies would have checked the second order unless they fully intended to send it without the items. Also be wary about the free gifts - they clearly dont update them or tell you if they have them in stock so dont expect it to come either.
