Good surgery, poor customer care
While the actual transplant surgery was professional, and I was happy enough with the results to return a second time, there were a few experiences that really lowered my perception of this clinic. First, I am coming from Canada and was given the price to pay in euros and was told i could pay in USD if i preferred, but the price was increased upon my arrival for some inexplicable reason - only by 100USD, but still, they should be upfront about the price from the beginning and not increase at the last second. Also, the first time I went to Dr Serkan they provided me with aftercare shampoo and lotion for the transplant area for free, now the second time i went they tried to charge me for the aftercare which is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous after they raised their overall prices.

False promises especially about the crown area
I got my hair transplant at Serkan's clinic in January 2021 (it's now called Serkan Aydin clinic I believe) and I was initially told, before my operation, that my crown area, which is what bothered me the most, will be back to looking full. Three years after the operation and there's still little to no progress in the crown area. They got me back last year to do a prp and mesotherapy session for the crown area but nothing resulted in that either and now they're just ignoring my messages on WhatsApp. I wouldn't recommend this if you are losing hair in the crown. It seems to be a waste of money. And like someone else said above, the transplant is not done by serkan himself. It's done by other technician type people
Serkan, Aggressive, Rude, Arrogant.
I wasn’t happy with the hairline, so I messaged Eda. On 20th March 2024, Eda got back to me. Serkan invited me for a restoration of the frontal line, specifically 800 grafts. Eda confirmed on WhatsApp, “You can kindly request adjustments if you are not happy in the middle of the operation when they draw the line for the second time,” and “It is not an issue for us.” You guys are a “big brand,” and your so-called doctor, Serkan, walks in, draws the line, and then rushes out a few moments later. I politely questioned him, saying this is not what I mentioned on WhatsApp. He replied that if I wanted the hairline, I needed to pay extra, insisting that my hair was good and that I had not been invited for this specific procedure. Then what's the point of me coming? I traveled four hours with my brother, who took time off to accompany me. Dr. Serkan went ballistic, saying they would not be doing the hairline again because it wasn't done the first time, and the top crown would not be treated. His attitude changed, becoming super aggressive when we asked why. It seemed like no one had ever questioned “Dr. Serkan Aygin” before. He claimed they were already giving me a free treatment of 1100 grafts and that he was doing me a favor. At this point, we asked him to calm down as his voice was raised. I was surprised and shocked to witness this behavior. How could a so-called “Dr. Serkan” make it all about money? Pay more, and then they’ll do it? Then what did I pay for in the first place? Words suddenly came out like, “You should thank me,” and “You want a piece of the whole cake.” He aggressively touched my hair. I told Dr. Serkan I had taken second opinions from different hair transplant companies. He then touched me on the shoulder aggressively, demanded to see them, slammed the laptop in front of me, and told me to put on a Zoom call. His customer service representative told him to calm down, and he walked out, suggesting that we leave if we didn’t want the procedure. It felt like he wanted to physically assault me. I was frightened and even told his customer service to leave us alone and not convince us otherwise. I traveled all the way to Turkey to be spoken to in an unworthy, inhumane manner. This experience suggests that Doku Medical has no care for patients like myself, as demonstrated by your owner, who treated me poorly, made me feel small, embarrassed, and as if I had done something wrong. He behaved as if he was status-wise superior, displaying threatening behavior. I had to tell him to calm down, as he had zero respect. I felt so frightened the next day to go into surgery, wondering what could happen. Cemeal was great in reassuring us and had to defend your doctor. I should have never been treated like this. “They can go,” “You should respect me,” and “You should thank me” – you would have assumed he was the customer. Not once did I disrespect or raise my voice, unlike him. This was the worst experience ever. I even regret choosing Doku Medical as I feel let down and have changed my opinion. This seriously needs looking into, and saying sorry will just be words now, as it seems like Dr. Serkan is being protected by his customer service when his true colors have come out.

Ich wurde herzlich in der Klinik empfangen und hatte eine großartige Zeit dort. Das Hotel war ausgezeichnet und ich habe viele neue Leute kennengelernt, die ihre Erfahrungen mit mir geteilt haben. Das Essen war köstlich und die Hin- und Rückfahrt war angenehm. Das gesamte Team war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, und ich fühlte mich gut beraten. Nochmals danke an selina und Esra Die OP verlief auch sehr gut. Obwohl ich das Endergebnis noch nicht beurteilen kann, bin ich bisher sehr zufrieden

Trapianto
Ho fatto il trapianto di capelli prima dei 30 anni, qualche anno fa, in quanto ho cominciato a stempiare già dall'età di 14 anni e questa cosa mi aveva creato un disagio e un malessere molto grandi, tant'è che poco prima di prendere la decisione ero arrivato anche a non voler uscire di casa. Pensavo di aver trovato una buona soluzione, ma il trapianto è andato male, nonostante mi avessero assicurato che l'età non contava e che non c'era bisogno di rinforzare la restante parte che risultava miniaturizzata con i bulbi piliferi, ma solo con minoxidil, finasteride e prp. I nuovi capelli fanno letteralmente vomitare, non sono mai cresciuti, sono sottili e continuo a perderli, praticamente mi hanno solo coperto le stempiature. Un dramma. Mai più in Turchia. Fuffa.
