The 'friction' is all about £1. This charge is so small but it generates ill will and a feeling of petty money-grabbing. RyanAir springs to mind as a company that manages to generate ill will and resentment among its customers. I want my regular FX/money changer to treat me like a local and valued customer. £1 charge does not do that....

Always a favourable rate on euros. The website is easy to use and the delivery has always been as stated. We have never had a problem and will definitely use the service again.
