I passed first time with just four minors after learning with Sarah, and I can’t be more complementary about my experience! Sarah immediately understood my learning style on lesson one and adapted her teaching to ensure I made progress. Sarah’s patient and encouraging approach, combined with her sense of humour and stoic determination that I WOULD succeed, made lessons enjoyable. My work schedule is inflexible and she moved mountains to accommodate our lessons. I faced certain challenges learning to drive and Sarah showed me how to overcome them. My experience with Driver Skills North East was excellent from start to finish! Sarah is a wonderful instructor with a great sense of humor. Not recommended for beginners: Felt like learners are expected to have over 100 hours of prior driving experience, I came to this conclusion half way through the course after conversations with the instructor. The school's public response stated "no one is expected to have taken 100 hours prior tuition". Yeah paid tuition is not the only way to obtain the needed driving experience, I was talking about needing the driving experience, not how you go about getting it. ...I recommend doing 100 hours driving with friends and family before paying to do this course. 2. Excessive explanations: Felt like instructor's lengthy explanations reduce driving time down to about 15 hours in total. ...If I was to do the course again, I would politely request concise instructions. This is what I was told in a public response by the school: "It is my understanding that, on several occasions you chose to ignore your instructors expert advice, choosing instead to talk at length at the instructor to justify your point". The instructor's version, shared by the school, contradicts mine. I hoped the school's discussion with the instructor would help, but I feel it made things worse. My aim was to get conflict resolution, but I feel I encountered more conflicts when the school got involved. Hopefully their conflict resolution procedures will improve going forward. … when dissatisfied with this school’s services, I think you should avoid raising points that could lead to hearsay disputes with this school. 3. Need it in writing from an instructor if they cancel your course: My 3-hour driving lessons credit disappeared off their pupil app, along with the instructor's messages on the app. As of the time of writing, no refund has been issued for the lost credit. The school publicly said “[our] instructor informed me [the school, that] you [the pupil] chose to terminate your course, our terms and conditions [say] if you [the pupil] choose to terminate your course after the course has started, you [the pupil] would not be entitled to a refund of any remaining tuition”. I told the school previously that I didn’t cancel the course. I think we have no written proof of either of us canceling the course, so I feel this is accusations that neither party can prove. … when you buy services off a company, make sure you get it in writing if they choose to cancel or cut short the services so they can’t use their Ts&Cs to deny you a refund. Positives: 1. Adaptability: Felt like the instructor adjusted teaching style for visual learners towards the end of the course. I felt there was still lots of unneeded repetition before he got to visuals, but he eventually used google maps to show routes and dash board camera replays to show what I had done wrong which I felt was better than him trying to verbally describe it in detail previously. 2. Patience: Felt like the instructor remained calm and avoided shouting most of the time. 3. Flexible with dates: The school adjusted course start date without any issues to accommodate hospital visits. Hope this summary is helpful! Update 1: Just to clarify, my feedback was not regarding Dave, as he was not my instructor. Most of the positive reviews here seem to be specifically for Dave and his lessons in an automatic car. However, I would like to commend Sarah for her delightful customer service during the initial booking process. She was extremely helpful and provided excellent assistance at the start. Update 2: Today (Sunday the 13th of August, 2023), the school shared my personal details twice publicly online in two replies to this Trust Pilot review. Trust Pilot took down the 1st reply. Thank you to the school for putting up a 3rd reply which has none of my personal data in it. I feel the school’s 1st two replies were reckless as the private data they shared could get into the hands of online scammers. I feel this could result in putting my family at risk of being targeted by scammers down the line. I feel the school abused my trust by sharing my personal details publicly without asking. Update 3: I replied to the school's public replies. Copied and pasted relevant parts of the school's responses from their initial 2 replies on this review (which have since been taken down).

I wholeheartedly recommend Driver Skills North East. I had a bad experience with a driving school where the instructor told me to stick to a bus pass and do not carry on trying to learn to drive. After research, I spoke to Sarah and Dave who had confidence, understanding and support in my ability to learn. Because of Dave’s commitment I passed first time today. I am forever grateful to Dave for being very supportive in helping me achieve my dream of driving.

Start to finish driver skills and my driving instructor Dave have been really great. I got lots of help with my theory test, that I passed first time. My lessons were arranged round my college timetable so that I got lots of practice at different times of the day. Sarah in the office was lovely and really helpful in arranging my lessons, theory and practical tests for me. On the day of my driving test Dave worked hard to keep my nerves down, which really helped and I passed with just 2 minors. I would fully recommend Driver Skills North East for anyone wanting to learn to drive with a great driving school.

Absolutely appalled at this company. I was told at the time of booking a fortnightly lesson would be available for my Daughter after school. I even waited two weeks after her 17th birthday for them to have availability for this and paid upfront. After her first lesson no more are possible for 6 weeks after school!!!! Absolute con as if I'd known this I would have gone elsewhere to start with but we've had her time wasted by Driver Skills North East. I appreciate it is a busy time after lockdown, but lying to gain business is unacceptable. In Response to the poor reply from Drivers Skills: Advanced payment was never an issue and as Drivers Skills are aware I quoted their own response regarding the weekly lessons, which read "All our lessons are a standard 2 hours long and we can keep the same lesson times for every week if that’s what works best for the pupil". This is what I required and spoke about on the phone, yet was not fulfilled after 1 lesson. I accept schools are busy because of the covid backlog, but most have the decency to be honest when they cannot provide what people require. The email you received was an annoyed email from a dissatisfied customer not an aggressive email at all.

Ik heb de Brainwash cursus bij Arie gevolgd tijdens de corona lockdown, en dus geheel virtueel via Zoom. Zowel het materiaal, de uitleg van Arie met de vele voorbeelden, als ook de online tools waren perfect om de gehele lesstof effectief in twee weken te behandelen. Veel avondstudie en oefeningen als ook de examen oefeningen, zorgden ervoor dat het geheel een goede basis vormde voor de CBR examens. Een goede gemiddelde resultaatscore van 93% was zonder Arie’s uitleg, energie, ervaring en het oefenmateriaal niet mogelijk geweest! Aanrader!!!

Na een zeer prettige twee weken klassikaal Brainwash onder de Covid-19 regels in september 2020 waar Arie alle onderwerpen effectief in delen presenteerde gingen de CBR examens plat en werden zwaar vertraagd. De digitale leeromgeving krijgt updates door het team naarmate informatie word teruggekoppeld door examenkandidaten. Zeer doordachte cursus waar duidelijk jaren ontwikkeling en optimalisatie in zijn verwerkt. Niet beginnen bij vak 1 en eindigen bij vak 7 maar alle stof door elkaar gevlochten waardoor dwarsverbanden gelegd kunnen worden en de materie veel beter begrepen en onthouden wordt. Arie staat ver boven de lesstof. Je kunt het zo ingewikkeld niet bedenken of hij kan het simpel uitleggen. Ik vond het helemaal top!

Goeie cursus door een piloot met meer dan 40 jaar vliegervaring die op vliegvelden in vele landen is geweest. Afgezien van de verplichte examenstof kom je gedurende de twee weken van deze cursus nog vele andere zaken te weten. De ondersteunende online leeromgeving is super goed opgezet en wordt nog steeds verbeterd. Oefenvragen reflecteren de werkelijke CBR examenvragen. Je hebt ook na de twee weken cursus nog steeds toegang tot deze leeromgeving. Een echte aanrader en zeker het geld waard.

I came here in preparation for my IR and MEP revalidation on a DA42. I was used to flying using analogue instruments and came to Blubird to get used to the G1000. The simulator was of great quality with all relevant G1000 features included. The instructor also had a lot of knowledge regarding the G1000.

I got my CV reviewed and updated. Overall a positive experience and happy with the service provided. Could easily have been 5 stars but gave it 4 stars there were some miscommunication in the initial processing of the order which delayed the process. However once the actual review started the service was very good and they were very prompt. Aoun was very helpful and thorough. A copy & paste experience as Husemettin so i kept most of his wording. Less than 1hr ago, I had paid for myself and a relative for food safety courses. I had to create two different accounts, one for group leaders and another one for those enrolled . Paying was easy. Enrollment was easy. But when it comes to starting the course itself is impossible. I am still waiting to get a link for the course. I have taken so many courses online & this is the far worse and difficult to get your hands on the course itself. I wouldn't recommend it at all . I have called the various different number and emailed for assistance but at this point am seeking a full refund. What led me to trust pilot was to check if it was a scam because their social media pages haven't been updated in 3 years. They also have another trust pilot page with only 1 review from 3 yrs ago. Went on YouTube to see if they have tutorial videos. Nothing. I'd like my money back. Purchased this in blind faith because of the .org but I will definitely pay extra and go with their competitors

Bit of a Luddite on Computers but for 68 year old got through it

The course was relatively easy to navigate through. The content was really good and relevant to my needs (use of kitchen in our church complex). Many thanks for a great course. Some of the pictures associated with the text were slightly misleading eg bacteria right next to a slice of melon with no idea of scale, photo of mouldy fruit under text to do with bacteria in food. Naming of Latin names of organisms not all correct eg Salmonella enteritis must not have a capital letter for enteritis, and should be in italics or underlined

I have been a chef for nearly 23 years and did my HACCP training in different countries such Mauritius , Australia,Japan, tunisia and France.Its my first in UK and its good to keep refreshing our mind. This course complete and i recommand all the chefs to go for it.

I like the fact that you can come and go from the course as it is quite long to do in one hit (it was for me). I also like the questions at the end of each module. Not so keen on the thirty questions at the end, particularly the dated ones, as this now makes me consider having to write them down when I renew my certificate, as opposed to focussing on the food hygiene itself.

The course I took was very professional and up to date. I learned a lot from it and thought it would be boring or lack up to date relevant media. The test were based off the reading and videos which made the test seem easier for me since I am a auditory learner.

The process is fairly easy to order DiSC assessments and reports. Since I order items that are technically sent electronically, I find the step on shipping to be a bit unnecessary.

The shipping for a booklet was way too expensive. The directions were not on the first page, but the second, so for those of us that are sequential, I screwed up the book before I ever got started. The directions were easy to follow once I found them. It was interesting information.

SLV back in service I did a month with SLV in their mental health placement. It was recommended to me by a friend who did two months with them in 2018. If it wasn't for word of mouth I don't know if I would have gone because I was put off by the reviews here. However I'm very glad that I did. I learned that Covid impacted the operation completely - everyone lost their jobs. It is now a much more streamlined service and they are getting back on their feet. Ultimately it is the service users that lost out - SLV does very good work in many different placements in Sri Lanka and I was proud to be a part of this. I'm sorry that people may not have gotten fully refunded. However now I realise that this was an unfortunate consequence of the global pandemic and that the organisers tried to prevent this outcome to the best of their ability. Besides all that, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it for people who are looking for more hands-on work in a mental health setting. I worked with people with mental health issues, intellectual disabilities and the elderly in various different placements. We were very well looked after in our homestay and people could not have been kinder or more hospitable. I believe in the integrity of this organisation and I hope that it will be able to rebuild itself back to full strength as it offers an important service in a country where mental health is very much marginalised.

Have lost out on £1300 (the deposit AND the rest), and have seen absolutely nothing for it. They shut down their phone line and email inbox with immediate effect, and soon after closed down their website and moved address too. ABSOLUTE SCAM. I am disgusted SLV. You have ruined me.

Was meant to be going on my placement with SLV at the end of March. This didn’t go ahead because of the pandemic. Was told they could not refund my placement fee but as a “form of gratuity” they would give me 50%, so £550. Was not happy but had no choice to accept, because they would of kept it otherwise. Get to this point and they have closed for business. So now my non refundable fee has gone too. An £800 loss. To add insult to injury, they have abandoned ship the same day they informed everyone they were closing. So I am unable to contact them and discuss anything with them. So all in all it seems they were happy to take my money, and couldn’t be bothered to hold communications with me. Cheers SLV 👌

My 3 months in Bali as a Volunteer Coordinator were some of the best months of my life. I am forever grateful to SLV for giving me the opportunity to work in the field promoting positive mental health and gaining hands on experience in one of the most beautiful cultures and countries in the world. The friends I made there and the Balinese staff and homestay families are some of the most incredible and inspirational people I have ever met and I know I will stay in touch with them for a very long time! Doing an SLV placement was by far the best decision I have made and would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone! The hands on experience and skill set it provided me with is invaluable and has already assisted me in interviews and helped me to get a post as a Volunteer AP in an eating disorders clinic in Scotland which I don’t think I would have got without this experience. A lot of people worry about “Voluntourism” with volunteering abroad and I did too however SLV couldn’t be further from it the majority of the staff coordinating the volunteers and placement are Balinese and SLV provide sustainable opportunities and income for the community which is extremely reassuring. I was fully supported by SLV in the London office and in country every step of the way and I cannot wait to get back to Bali as soon as possible! Thank you for everything SLV ❤️

DO NOT give this company your money!!!! I was aware when signing up that the acceptance free was non refundable if you were to end up not going on the trip. However we are not being given the £250 back when our trip can not go ahead due to a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Utterly disgusting

Terrible company who only care about making a profit. If they cared about mental health at all, they would give back the $500 acceptance fees they take from you during this horrible time that the world is facing. They try to feed the whole “this pays for your acceptance and our correspondence,” but the only correspondence I’ve had from them is that my trip is cancelled. They won’t listen when I say that a deferment is not possible. Their terms and conditions are unjust and they cannot accept fault. I can see on this website that this is not the first time they’ve done something like this.

The experience I gained with SLV global in Bali has given me excellent psychology work experience that is hard to gain in the UK. Working with children and young people, adults and older adults, has helped me think more about what age ranges id like to specialise in. The company had everything very well organised, by the most incredibly supportive and friendly team! I would take part in another SLV programme in a heartbeat! I would recommend this to any psychology student looking to gain global mental health experience. It enables you to build confidence in working in what can be challenging environments if you have no or a small amount of work experience in mental health already, or for those with good experience already - the opportunity to build leadership skills and experience whilst seeing the most beautiful country and working with the friendly people of Bali.

I should be in an India placement with SLV this week but they cancelled due to insufficient volunteers. The original Sri Lanka placement was cancelled last year, I had already bought flight, insurance etc etc. It has been a whole year since I paid the non-refundable deposit eagerly looking forward to volunteering abroad. My predicament is why am I not (and other volunteers) given the deposit back due to these unforeseen circumstances? I understand SLV's terms and conditions but this is just unheard off. Basically I have paid for nothing and that includes my emotional wellbeing. I do not want SLV coming back to me please. You don't understand. You mentioned in an email you had to be 'fair on all volunteers'. Be fair and pay us who you cancelled on. Terribly unprofessional, will never crowdfund again.

Doing my placement in Sri Lanka was honestly the most eye opening experiences I have ever had. Not only did I gain invaluable skills, but SLV also provide you with a glowing recommendation, which has helped me get into my masters course and an assistant psychology placement with NELFT.

After joining the SLV.Global India programme in 2017, it is safe to say my life has been completely transformed. Not only have I completed a further 2 placements with SLV.Global in Sri Lanka (2018 as a peer mentor - 3 months) and in Bali (2019 as a Vol. Coordinator - 3 months), but I have also acted as an ambassador for my university, gaining some extra money whilst promoting a cause I strongly align with. In my experience there are no other companies that offer the unique programmes SLV.Global offers. Despite all this however, the programmes may not be for everyone. If, however, you decide to apply, gain your place, pay your fees and attend placement and then realise that it is not the programme for you, then perhaps a certain level of research was not conducted first. My biggest advice to any future volunteers is READ THE WEBSITE! There’s information about costs, how the money is spent, what SLV.Global offers and what to expect all on the website, whether that’s in the info packs, general info, FAQs, blogs OR vlogs there is definitely a lot of info out there! By the time I had read all these various things I had definitely got a clear idea of what SLV.Global stood for and what they offered, and if anything I underestimated just how amazing the experience would be. Le format est interessant avec des changements de supports. Cependant, très compliqué d'utilisation depuis mon écran d'ordinateur portable. Pas possible de passer en mode plein écran, toujours en train de zoomer pour accéder aux informations. Le plan en marge est fort utile mais il pourrait être plus souple d'utilisation pour revenir sur le cours. Sinon, pour les QCM ça n'a pas marché à la fin, je n'ai pas pu accéder aux réponses.

What made my experience great at plural code academy was the fact I was carried along with the staff. Especially my mentor Mr. Cyril who was patient and well-detailed in his teachings. Due to the modern & unique pedagogical techniques of the faculty members of the A1 Study Center securing higher marks is not a big deal. I have passed the IELTS examination with a band score of 7.5. It was impossible without the valuable live classes with highly experience faculty members.

I like Classover because they offer a variety of courses and have many teacher options. After a few weeks, I enrolled my younger son as well. The teachers are excellent—professional and patient. My younger son is 6 years old and has a hard time focusing for long periods. Ms. Krysten uses many techniques to engage him, help him concentrate, and improve his learning outcomes. However, sometimes scheduling classes takes longer than expected. The customer service is very patient, but you do need to wait a bit longer.

Review: I recently enrolled my two 7-year-olds in a course offered by Classover with high hopes of enhancing my kids math skills through their virtual platform. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations, prompting me to request a refund. I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction regarding their handling of this situation. Lack of Transparency: Firstly, the refund policy was not as transparent as I expected. It was not communicated and not clearly explained during the registration process. This lack of clarity is something I believe should be addressed immediately to maintain trust and transparency with customers. Poor Customer Service: Upon requesting a refund, I encountered a series of bureaucratic hurdles. The customer service team was unresponsive at first, and when they did reply, it was to inform me that my request could not be processed due to a policy that was not clearly communicated earlier. The interactions were frustrating and left me feeling undervalued as a customer. Unmet Educational Expectations: The quality of the educational content itself was very underwhelming. The lessons were not as interactive as advertised, and the instructional methods were outdated, the teacher was not experienced, which diminished the overall learning experience. This discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered is unacceptable, especially when premium prices are being charged. Conclusion: To others considering Classover, I would advise you to thoroughly understand their refund policy and set your expectations accordingly regarding the course content. As of my experience, I am disappointed and cannot recommend their services due to the poor customer service and the inflexible refund policy. A more customer-centric approach and significant improvements in course delivery are needed for me to consider returning. I hope this feedback prompts Classover to make necessary changes, enhancing their services for future learners.

Y en Youandenglish lo saben hacer muy bien: profes nativos, horarios flexibles y precios super interesantes. La verdad que volvería a contar con ellos si en un futuro lo necesitara. Me ayudaron con mis necesidades del momento y se superaron mis expectativas.

We joined Technis 2 years ago and our experience has been great. Technis has got skilled and highly motivated teachers. They help children cultivate enthusiasm for learning because they make it fun. I heard about this academy when I wanted to prepare my daughter for 11+. She joined and I instantly started seeing the difference. She has more homework to work on, with a homework session apart from the normal english and math session. She was also able to book a one on one session with a tuttor as much as needed to help with subjects she was struggling with. I had a good experience and would strongly recommend.

My daughter was in set 2 of her year 7 maths. I spoke to Tutu of Tecnis academy about what could be done to get her into set 1. I receive tution in 3 subjects from Impact Tutors: Maths , Chemistry and English A-level. I love my tutors, they make it very easy for me to understand the difficult concepts and for the first time in my life I enjoy learning maths and chemistry!! Vi har, gjennom 2 år, hatt svært god erfaring med MentorNorge, både som generell ekstra undervisning gjennom hele året, og som ekstra hjelp før eksamen. Selskapet virker profesjonelt drevet og de mentorene vi har hatt har vært svært flinke. Det er enkelt å forholde seg til selskapet, og som foreldre får vi tilgang til rapporter etter hver time, sånn at vi kan ha full oversikt over hva som skjer i timene, hvilken progresjon eleven har og kalender for kommende timer, saldo etc. MentorNorge anbefales 100 prosent!

Har brukt Mentor Norge 3 ganger, og det har gitt gode resultater for ungene. Mentor har vært flinke i alle 3 tilfellene. Norsk administrasjonen er hjelpesomme, men eier fra Danmark har innført nye regler og økt prisene. Vi kjøpe ekstra pakke med timer, men helt håpløst rigid system at timer forfaller etter 6 mnd. ( tar ikke hensyn til ferieperioder på sommer, påske eller jul). I tillegg burde prisene for personlig oppmøte og på nett ha større pris-forskjell, dvs timer på nettet burde være rimeligere. Har ikke erfaring med lignende selskaper, og kan anbefale mentorNorge hvis Pris ikke er viktig, og regler om fakturering uansett om man bruker timer. Vi opplevde at de fakturert 100 % av timene før vi hadde klart å bruke mer enn 50 % av timene. 5 stjerner for mentorene, og 1 stjerne for fakturering/forfall av timer.
