Will not use again, better buying elsewhere
I was extremely disappointed with my order. I ordered on the 10th January and on the 23rd, I still hadn't received an email saying it was on its way. I emailed the company and on the 24th, I was informed that they didn't have the stock but it arrived that day. I was then informed that Parcel force would be collecting. I emailed again on the 28th to ask when I would receive it and I received an email today (the 29th) saying that I should read my previous email as they can't update me any further! I'm now being told that it should arrive tomorrow (let's see) so in total, that's 20 days waiting for an order that said in stock when I placed it! I also feel that 'Nick' needs to have more professionalism when responding to emails. Will not use these again. EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: Thank you for clarifying what the lastest email said but maybe you could include past ones? As for emailing a day after, that is because I was informed the parcel would be picked up and still, I had no information stating this was correct. Could you also explain how I am not the only customer that ordered something that was 'in stock' to then be told it wasn't? Is that just your generic line to people not being happy? 21 days from ordering is silly and you can respond any way you would like, it won't improve your professionalism.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money with this company. Their delivery promises are nonsense and communication is nonexistent. I sent 3 messages (web form, chat and email) and also tried to contact them by telephone. The call just rings out and then cuts off. Still waiting for my order and I’m glad the value is small. Quite honestly this company don’t deserve our business.

Stick with Amazon
I ordered on the 14th of December, no delivery and no reply until I chased them. Only to get an email back saying the product isn't in stock and they are waiting for it to arrive and will then deliver it. Great, thanks for not letting me know. As it is part of a Christmas present and I need it by tomorrow that doesn't help me much, oh well back to Amazon Prime, and I'll have it here tomorrow.

17 days to receive half an order & no communication unless you chase them!
Placed an order on the 11th expecting dispatch in 48hrs as stated on website, had no notification and tried calling them for the whole week...no reply, took 3 days of messages to finally get back to me on the 17th and say they were still waiting for some new stock but they had some of my order...this was 7 days after I placed the order and they didn't think to let me know?! I asked them to send what they had and refund the rest which they agreed to do that day...and 5 days later..still no items or partial refund and I had to chase them again. I finally got my partial refund on the 27th and my order on the 28th. The constant *apologies* and excuses are not good enough, they don't answer the phone or emails. I think it's time they should review their standards and update the website because it would seem they are having issues with running it successfully. I for one will never order from them again.

Seems okay, but too slow for my needs.
Found what I needed at an acceptable price, so placed the order. A week later, the order had still not been processed. I had run out of time so had to head to a shop and purchase instead. However, I was able to cancel the order with relative ease and received an immediate refund.

Not same day despatch even though stated on their web site
I ordered from them specifically because they said it was same day despatch and Royal Mail 24. After three days they still hadn't despatched and couldn't provide a date when it would be sent. They denied that they promise same day despatch so I sent a screen shot of their site promising exactly that. In their favour I asked for a refund and got it promptly, but I would much prefer not to have had all this hassle. I wouldn't buy from them again.

I have been using this company for several years now and am so glad I found them. Their products are both excellent quality and value. Their customer service is great, they are friendly and helpful. If something is out of stock they will advise you when it will be in or offer alternatives.

This company is a nightmare
This was my first order. I ordered thread for my overlocker totalling £16 odd. This company is a nightmare. Over 3wks they have had my money but not delivered the goods despite their website stating 24hr delivery. I also ordered the colour chart thinking it was a physical chart, only to be told it was to match a cotton to the fabric but they contacted me as I’d not bought fabric. Hence at £1.95 it’s quite expensive for them to match a thread to your fabric. I said cancel it then as it’s not what I was after. I said I was in a hurry for the thread. Which I’d paid £16 for and was assured they would post asap. No contact from them until I replied to the email correspondence we had over the colour chart issue, stating that I was still waiting for me order. Only to be told it was out of stock. So why did they not try to contact me, saying so. They could have just sent what they had. I told them to cancel and currently waiting for my refund. I actually wondered if this is a Chinese site. If it’s not in stock, it should be shown as out of stock at the point of ordering. I don’t believe all the good reviews on here. I think they must be fake. Avoid this company. Off to the shop to buy my thread. I’ve waited long enough. EDIT………. Just an edit to answer your reply. It took 2 days to clear up the colour match confusion. I did not want this service anyway I thought it was a physical chart so why would you even comment on this. Why would you not comment on the fact that you took my money when one of the colour threads I ordered, you admit was out of stock last night. Why did your colleague not tell me this when he emailed me 2 days after I placed my order to tell me the colour match service was not a physical colour chart which I asked him to cancel. I asked that he got my order out asap as I was waiting to start a project. He agreed he would. Why would he not inform me there would be delay as it was not in stock. You also told me last night that one of the colours you waiting for to fulfil my order was maybe due on today or tomorrow. So how can you even claim you sent it out and had to cancel it with the courier when you’re waiting for the stock. Where is my email to notify me of dispatch. It’s lies that’s why. You just say sorry I’m not happy but made no attempt to send out what you did have in stock or offer any compensation for your failures. You never made me feel like a valued first time customer and would not have made any attempt in the last 3wks to avoid my upset. I had to contact you. EDIT AGAIN…… IN ANSWER TO YOUR LAST REPLY… I left the review after you cancelled my order at my request and at no time did you did you mention any compensation. There was a mention of 24hr delivery. I did not accuse you of being Chinese sellers but only that I wondered if you might be for the time you held my money without having the stock to fulfil my order. I have had experience with Chinese sellers. I actually order from them quite often and expect the long delivery time. But on this occasion, I thought I was ordering from a UK based company. Hence my scepticism. And if you treat everyone like this, then I do believe many of the reviews might be fake, especially when you fail to skip around the points I was making and only focus on these last points. Other reviews I see have had the same issues. I wonder where we all get the 24hr delivery from if it’s not mentioned on your website. Why do you not inform your customers if things are out of stock, rather than keep their money and leave them in the dark. Why did you lie and say you had to cancel the order with the courier when you told me last night, it was not in stock and might come in today or tomorrow. You van’t have sent it if you don’t have the stock, which you stated. NOTE ATTACHED EMAIL…. You admit packing some of my order but not all of it. ? And stating you expect the rest today or tomorrow where you will complete and ship my order. That was last night. So how could you have shipped it, to have cancelled it with the courier as you state. How is this not lying. Email attached. Your words….. Also it states in my reply, I was worried they might be coming from China. It’s all in black and white. I hope others will see this before attempting to order from you and given the runaround as you have me, not to mention the lies. That’s rubbish. I already replied and told you I wanted a refund. One you cannot get a parcel from a courier once it is sent. The other is, you said the order was not complete and I had no notification of dispatch. This just goes to show, you accept no responsibility for your failings. Shame on you. You really are not very professional at all. You are just making it up as you go along. Oh and I did get my thread today from a reputable sewing shop today. Better quality. AMANN
