I Ordered a headunit on the website
I Ordered a headunit on the website, which was in stock. Then received an email saying it was on back order! Event though two weeks later the website sill says it has stock?! A call to the service team the next normal working day to enquire about the issue. The sales guy started off trying to send me last years model as there was a wait for the new one to come in, but I’ve chosen to wait for the item I ordered to arrive which was a month wait. Since then not had any contact via email to confirm a date. I’m currently waiting the two more weeks for the rough arrival date given over the phone when il give them another call. More communication would be helpful.

Absolutely useless, first the issues started with their website which is an absolute glitchy mess, wouldn't let me sign up kept reloading me back to the home page but finally after about 5 tried it worked. Went to the shopping basket and tried to purchase the stereo I wanted which was in stock, got to the payment details, entered my debit card info and clicked continue and all it did was reload the payment page again but without the continue button being there, so had no idea whether the payment had gone through or not, and no way to continue so stuck on that page, but checked my bank account and it had been paid... great.. or so I thought. I checked my emails over the next hour had no confirmation email, also checked my account for recent orders but it said there were no orders, so obviously started getting slightly concerned my payment was in limbo with no order made. Received confirmation about 8am that my order was being processed, so I called them as soon as their lines opened at 9am and asked if I could upgrade shipping and pay the £6.99 for DPD next day, they said not a problem and it would be sent out that day (Friday) using DPD's next day delivery so I would receive it Saturday (DPD deliver on Saturday and it is classed as a working day for them), at 5:02pm received an email the item was "Partly dispatched"... what is partly? either it was dispatched or it wasn't right? well heh keep reading... I thought meh whatever it's been dispatched so happy days I'll get that tomorrow as said... Errrrm NOPE think again... tracking for RoyalMail said they were waiting for the item all Friday evening... I just assumed slow tracking, but the next day I woke up to an email from Royal Mail with updated tracking saying that the parcel was given to them at around 8am that morning (Saturday morning), so firstly Royal Mail is not DPD which I paid for, it even says DPD in my invoice, not to mention it wasn't sent out when marked as dispatched (or well is that what they meant by partly dispatched? not dispatched at all!), it was sent out the next morning which means I wasn't getting it Saturday (and yes Royal Mail also class Saturday as a working day and deliver but they were too late for that) but now it will probably be Monday, so already I was frustrated and irrirated... Anyway Monday came and at 6:32pm RoyalMail updated the tracking and delayed it an extra day for whatever reason, and no CarAudioCenter can't control RoyalMail deliveries, thats completely true... HOWEVER it shouldn't have even been with RoyalMail to begin with! I paid for DPD!!! so if they had done what they said which I paid for, expected, and was told, and they had sent it via DPD on Friday I would have received it Saturday and able to finish a job I had on, instead of Tuesday 3 days late!! so ultimately it is CarAudioCenter who is at fault not the delivery service they 'shouldn't' have used, especially when Royal Mail are backlogged with post! Sorry but theres no excuse for that, I definitely won't buy from these amateurs again, and I recommend to anyone read the negative reviews this seems to be a trend with marking items dispatched when not even in stock or when not even dispatched at all and forget paying for faster delivery, there's nothing fast about them they don't give a toss clearly. There are better rated similar priced car audio sites, I recommend ANY one of them than these monkeys.
