Falsely claim they are a UK supplier - any issues mats need to be returned to Germany on website at your own expense this costs as much as the mat. Find another company and save yourself a lot of hassle.

Utter rubbish - PAYPAL dispute returned money

I bought a floor mat that was significantly delayed in postage. It cracked after a few weeks use. The company insistent I sent the mat to Germany, at my expense, so they could check for "manufacturing issues". This was a mat that had cracked repeatedly by this point and was not fit for purpose. I sent photos to back up my claim but they were insistent I should post, they eventually stopped replying to emails. I raised a PAYPAL dispute. Paypal issued a refund within around 2 weeks. Floormats.co.uk - 0 stars Paypal - 5 stars

Don't trust.

Tried to make my purchase after seeing it was free delivery. Then they wanted to charge me because I was outside the UK. Okay, no problem. I put in my sister's address in the UK and then they tried to charge me a "package & handling fee". Yeah, no thanks. False advertising. I would not trust them.

Save your time and money - buy elsewhere.

UPDATED: 7th Sept - Paypal have just refunded me the full amount that I paid for the mat. Thank you, PayPal!! I can now take this cracked up piece of junk to the rubbish tip. ------------------------------ I've never felt compelled to create an account here to provide others with feedback, until the poor experience I've just had from floormats.co.uk. I purchased a "PRO Series Chair Mat for carpet floors" from this company at the beginning of August. It was delivered on August 11th and, within two weeks, it started to crack and split just like others have mentioned here. Even though the website states that it is crack-, curl-, break-, and scratch-resistant. After complaining, I was offered a 16% discount (like others have as well), which i rejected. I was then told to send the product back to Germany for inspection at MY EXPENSE. Again, I rejected this. It's too big and heavy to send to Germany cheaply. And why should I, anyway? I just bought this two weeks ago. The company is not replying to my email requests for a refund. However, as I paid for this purchase via PayPal, I have now opened up a dispute with PayPal under their Buyer Protection Scheme. Hopefully I'll get my money back and will take this mat to the rubbish tip. Bottom line: This company has shoddy products, and abysmal customer service - especially in these days when companies like Amazon, and Apple bend over backwards to ensure that their customers are happy. Save your time, money, and stress levels, and buy elsewhere.

Terrible product and appalling customer…

Terrible product and appalling customer service. I bought a mat to go under my office chair to protect my carpet. The mat split in less than 3 months, company not willing to replace or acknowledge my complaint. Poor quality, DO NOT BUY, waste of money.

Product not fit for purpose - LOOK ELSEWHERE

Product not fit for purpose. Bought higher end office chair mat to protect new carpet: shattered in seconds! Bought from UK, advised to return to Germany for them to consider! Since then, further comms received no response, even when escalated through Paypal, then after multiple attempts to contact via phone ahead of full escalation, being in queue for >10mins, cut off as either suddenly too busy or closed! at 2.30pm!?! DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY or if you have to, purchase on credit card or through Paypal so a refund can be obtain as appears highly likely!! Now having to pursue full refund through Paypal. Joke product, no after-sales,joke complaint process!

How I wish had read the reviews first! What a terrible experience. I bought one of their 'premium quality' mats which too over 5 weeks to arrive. After two weeks of use with a normal office chair there are 3 large cracks. When I notified the company I was told they do not offer refunds but if I wanted to send it to Germany then they would review the product. Given that this appears to be a UK website it looks like they could be running a dropshipping scheme. After looking into the Germany address it appears this is the umbrella company - Dayton Home & Office. They have multiple e-commerce stores and no doubt never see or quality check the products that they are selling. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Don't waste your time buying from this company. Don't just take my word for, look at what everyone else says! I bought a mat and within three weeks it had cracked. I contacted customer support to be told that it had to be sent back to Germany. When I queried that they just stopped returning my emails. Total scam.

Terrible product Terrible customer service

Terrible product. Purchased high quality polycarbonate floor mat for home office. Cracked within 6 weeks. Customer service will not refund unless product sent to Germany. When asked about floor mats uk has to send to Germany just repeat the customer service. Don’t use this company

Dreadful product and terrible customer service

I purchased Chair Mat for Carpet Floors - PRO Series for my carpeted home office. After less than 3 weeks of use the mat began to crack in 2 places and now has enlarged spider cracks. I contacted customer service and they advised that this will only be refunded if I were to send the product back (to Germany - and pay for postage myself), so that they could inspect the product for defects, albeit purchased from UK website. This I have refused to do and now trying to get chargeback on my Credit Card for defective goods as Company will not budge on its demands. Not a creditable Company to deal with, do not buy any product from it.
