Terrible experience, but made right by founder

UPDATE: After much back and forth, I was very pleased to receive an email from the founder. Subsequent to this review, the founder reached out directly and promised to stand behind the brand and make things right. The next morning, I received an email that they would be refunding me in full, which has since happened. While the original situation was frustrating, I've updated my review to be 5 star because prior to this single event, my experience with happynest over 2, years had been positive. Everyone makes mistakes, but knowing that the founder of this company still cares enough about the brand and still takes the time out of his day to handle minor disputes like this to make things right gives me renewed confidence in the company. ----- Original Review If I could give Happy Nest zero stars, I would. I’ve been a loyal customer for three years, spending thousands of dollars on their laundry services, but their recent handling of my damaged clothing was beyond unacceptable. They ruined a $150 pair of pants by staining them with blue detergent, and their so-called "customer service" was a masterclass in evasion and neglect. Despite clear evidence, including photos and receipts, they dragged their feet for weeks, offering a laughable $30 credit after an investigation. Their initial solution? A rewash of pants already irreparably stained by their negligence. Unsurprisingly, that didn’t fix the problem. I even gave them multiple reasonable options to resolve the situation fairly: reimburse me for the pants or offer a meaningful credit to my account. They failed to act on either. Instead, they dismissed the matter with an insulting credit that doesn’t even begin to cover the cost of the damaged item or the frustration I endured. This company does not value its customers or stand behind its service. If you care about your clothes and your time, stay far away from Happy Nest.

What a relief!

We are a family of 2 adults and a teenager and I am disabled so I get overwhelmed and behind and wanted to try the service and it is fantastic from the get go. Customer service has been very responsive and really nice to speak with. They have a van that picks up the morning you want service. You leave your bags out the night before and you get updates letting you know how many stops away they are , it’s gonna be there etc. They take your laundry and bring it back the next day. They do your laundry in a facility not in their own home and it’s not by the pound it’s by the bag unlike some other services out there. It’s really a great service.I would recommend it to anyone. I plan on using it whenever I have the need. I’m happy to know Happy Nest is there for us!

Don't follow special instructions

Hello, I have indicated in the special instruction section; NOT TO DRY BRAS OR JEANS. MY JEANS WERE DRIED I call and call and call complaining about this matter. Every time I am told; IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN, IT DOES. SOMEONE JUST DOESN'T CARE OR IS JUST STRAIGHT OUT LYING TO ME. I hope this be the last time I complain about this.

Wrinkled and damp clothes

Some items were not completely dry. Towels/washcloths sill damp. Sheets also not completely dry. I do not like the way the clothes were folded. Everything was folded into tight wads that caused the clothes to be very wrinkled. Sheets were extremely wrinkled. However, everything was cleaned and smelled good.
