The people at tax rise are very friendly. usually when in a situation where you owe the IRS a lot of money there's a lot of stress involved they make it very easy to understand and the people working there are awsome. It definitely was the best call I've ever made I would recommend using TaxRise to anyone

So far it’s been great. I’m not finished with the process. Everything has moved smoothly along. I started the process a few months ago with five years of back taxes. My case may take longer than some due to the amount I had. They have kept me informed every step of the way and were so helpful with the whole thing. So far everyone I’ve dealt with has been great. I’ve read some bad reviews but that has not been my experience at all so far.

My experience has been very percise and simple. The staff is very professional, talented, efficient.

I cannot recommend Taxrise. We approached them to help us with an overdue tax bill. The representative sold us their services with promises of removing or at least reducing our tax liability. Ultimately, all they were able to do was get the IRS to remove a $419 dollar penalty. We still have to pay back all of our back taxes with interest. We paid Taxrise $3400 and they reduced our tax bill by $419. As a retiree I am on a fixed budget. I feel foolish that I allowed them to take advantage of us. The $3400 should have been spent paying back taxes. Instead it went to Taxrise based upon promises they should have known they couldn't keep. Please, don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from Taxrise. 12/6 Since posting this initial review, we have heard from Taxrise. Eventually they offered us a $600 refund if we agreed to not post anymore negative reviews. We told them the refund was insufficient considering we spent $3400 with them, and their "resolution" would have cost us an additional $8000 in interest and penalties. I will stick by my original review. One star is too generous. Stay away from this company. 12/10 I did respond. After I declined to answer the call I got a text message. I responded to the text message. The QA representative can respond to us via text or e-mail. Taxrise should have both on record. Any further communication we have with Taxrise would need to be in writing, not verbal. I don't see the point of any additional phone calls. We have spent hours on the phone reviewing our financial information with Taxrise. Nothing has changed from our perspective. Feel free to refund the $600 to our account. I will make sure and mention the refund in the poor reviews I will continue to post. If Taxrise wishes to refund a larger amount we will certainly reconsider our review ratings going forward. My experience with Tax Rise was very professional. Each person that I spoke with was very friendly, helpful and patient and being a widow took a big weight off my shoulders. I appreciate all their work on my situation.

Hired Taxrise summer 2021 for $3K on $10K back taxes owed from EBay sales in 2018. Pointed out mistakes made by EBay, that Taxrise ultimately never advocated about. Then the lost in-house mail deliveries to Case Mgr started, more than once. Cost me well over a year. Said they’d expedite the case. More months go by. THEN they start asking about assets, recent pay stubs, bank statements. Ultimately 2.5 years go by, zero tax liability reduction, and then owed additional $2K IRS interest, so now $12K owed. Taxrise set up $181 monthly payments to IRS through 2031. Basically Taxrise cost me $5K ($3K + $2K). I could and should have worked directly with IRS. Would have saved me $1000’s. Do yourself a favor: deal directly with IRS
