Please read before using UIS!

My engagement with UIS began on the 31st of January when I spoke with Clara Miller and paid $990 USD for an eligibility report. UIS provided this report on the 9th of February and highlighted my eligibility for the visa I intended to apply for. Between 31st January and 4th July, UIS used the “incorrect report” to advise me of my eligibility and prompted me to pay the full express entry fee of $4,200 USD. After full payment and 5 months of little to no contact, they informed me that the report was incorrect, that I was ineligible, and that they would not refund my full express entry fee. Despite paying the full amount by the 2nd of March, UIS failed to: - Aid in creating an Express Entry Profile, a service that was never rendered. - Report back to me in a timely manner, a promise repeatedly broken. I submitted all required documents on the 14th of March, anticipating prompt action. Regrettably, between the 14th of March and the 1st of May, my six emails and several call back requests were met with silence from UIS representatives Max Taylor and Emma King. On the 1st of May, I was informed that my case was being handled by an RCIC agent, a claim that later proved to be false. From the 1st of May to the 4th of July, I continued to encounter unresponsiveness from UIS until I was finally told by a different case worker, Karen Leblanc, that I was not actually eligible for express entry. Karen's subsequent attempts to suggest other visa options were misguided, as many were not applicable to my situation. When I expressed my disappointment and requested a refund, I was directed to Victor Goldman in the customer service department, who refused to refund me, citing their terms of use. However, these terms are irrelevant in my case, as UIS failed to fulfill their services. I am left with a sense of betrayal and frustration, having been provided with false information, having had my case neglected for five months, and having received no expertise despite the promises made. UIS's lack of responsiveness and their provision of inapplicable options to my situation do not reflect the professionalism and expertise they claim to offer. I sincerely hope that my experience serves as a warning to others considering UIS and that it prompts the company to address these serious shortcomings in their service.

Incredibly Helpful

They were incredibly helpful along every step of the process. I had Rachel assigned to my case and she was always happy to answer any questions and provide any information I needed. Couldn't have asked for much more from them and would recommend to anyone.
