Avoid

Avoid! I spent alot of money on this thing and now it can't be used because the mouth piece is too old. It works perfectly fine but this rip off company force you to buy a new mouth piece every 90 days. They say that's its for safety of the user but this is purely a money spinner. Seriously annoyed to say the least

Good tech, a hidden cost

The unit works well, not a complete change but there is a pretty good difference for me. If there are other issues other than tonal lingual issues, those have to be addressed outside of the use of this product. Since it is an expensive product to buy, know that there are additional costs starting a few weeks after purchase. $300 a year, year after year, paid monthly, or more than that if no subscription. A few weeks after buying the unit, if you don't subscribe, even though the unit is working fine, they will turn it off. The machine will no longer work. That's a lot of money, around $1,500 for a few weeks. There is small print in the website that states that replacement is needed every 90 days, but not that they will turn the machine off. And that amount will likely increase over time.

Oh my God… I love this device

Oh my God… I love this device, EXciteOSA. I can sleep comfortably without tubings, mask, in CPAP machines. I love even more because I can carry with me on every trip without bulky machines and accessories.

Make a more robust product that lasts.

The multiple mouthpieces that I have received over the last year have all lost significant electrical impulse power within 2 weeks of use. No way do these mouthpieces last 90 days. I have used the extension cord and used new control units, and still, 2 weeks later, impulse power almost all gone. I agree with the other post that says this type of planned obsolescence lacks integrity. Do a better job and make a mouthpiece that lasts with full power for at least a year.

Strength training your tongue

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea during 2020, was always tired and severe brain fog. This led me down a path of either a $2k mandibular adjustment device, or CPAP. Being single, both of these are embarrassing to use while dating in addition to just very uncomfortable in general to sleep with. Thankfully I googled alternatives and found ExciteOSA. I was skeptical but also know how important strength training is for the rest of the body, so why not the tongue. After a month or so of use, my sleep was already deeper, and less interrupted. I was feeling like my self again, and using a device for only 20 mins a day was a huge win. Only con is insurance doesn’t cover the cost of any of this device yet. And there’s reoccurring expenses every 3 months. HSA can be helpful for this however.

I started to notice decreased snoring…

I started to notice decreased snoring in week 4. Now that I have completed over 100 sessions I sleep much better. I wake up not as tired some nights I only need 6 hours sleep which has never happened. I previously had a sleep apnea device and was not able to tolerate the therapy. I would wake up several time a night to reposition the mask then it would take an hour to go back to sleep. The Cpap machine made me feel as if I was drowning in air and could not catch my breath. Now thanks to Excite OSA device I’m sleeping much better and will never go back to c pap machine

Customer service is outstanding

Customer service is outstanding. It is like having a personal assistant that is right there for you when you need it. I have been using the device for 40 days now and it seems to be working slowly but surely. Very eager to continue using this device, a very good alternative to traditional Cpap machines.

Great alternative to using a machine at night. Very convenient, I use the device while driving to work so it does not even interfere with my day at all. I would highly recommend the device!

UARS and Excite OSA

I used exciteOSA for UARS and I found that while it did not cure my problem it did allow me to sleep a little longer with fewer wakeups during the night. If you have a tongue based obstruction it may help you.
