Timeshare Termination

I had a Timeshare with Azure in Malta. Wanted to get out of it, did some research and contacted Claim Solution Group about how to exit the contracts I had in place (3 apartments in total), one of which was paid for outright and x2 I financed initially through a company called HMC funding which then further down the line was transferred to Barclays Partner Finance. On my initial meeting with CSG, a representative came to my property, explained the situation, showed all the paperwork and loan agreements for the x3 apartments to them, it was photo’d and sent over to head office where I was advised they will only take on the claim if they believe there is a 100% chance of success (like no win no fee solicitors I guess), CSG confirmed after about 20 mins that they would take on the claim but a fee is payable of £5000 plus vat upfront (not like no win no fee solicitors), this was for them to engage and confirm we were committed to them as a company and not to deal with any other third party. I was sceptical about this fee but to be honest I just needed to act on getting these timeshares relinquished. I was advised the fee would be deducted from the final bill at settlement, for which it was estimated a 25% fee would be payable but it was dependant on the amount of the successful claim. We proceeded and I paid the £6000 by credit card incase I felt it was a scam. On engagement I received numerous phone calls and emails… all by the way with no progress, just checking in that not received any letters from Azure. 12 months down the line CSG advise the file is passed to Fullbrook, I receive a letter from them advising my timeshare contract had been terminated. I’ve asked for proof of this, something with Azure or the liquidators name on it as proof, still nothing, although I must say I haven’t received any correspondence from Azure or their representatives. 3 years down the line I’ve just received an offer for the BPF loan amount - which was wrong and so an additional loss claim has been made. I’ve asked about the third timeshare which as paid in full, now CSG or Fullbrooks won’t acknowledge this as paid in full and not on finance with BPF, so the fee I paid upfront was on the basis they took up the claim for all the units but only done x2. I’ve received an invoice from Fullbrooks for 25% plus vat for the amounts offered (I’ve accepted the 1st offer but haven’t the additional losses yet). This hasn’t had £6k paid upfront deducted from it. My settlement is just over £50k in total if I accept the additional losses claim, of which I have a bill payable to Fullbrooks of little over £15k plus the £6k already paid to CSG. This is more than the maximum amount allowed of 25% rule by ministry of Juctice. As it stands at the moment I will have paid over 40% in fees and still no work done on the third timeshare or proof from the acting body working on behalf of Azure that my contracts are fully terminated. Fullbrook have their fees shown online and with a claim of my about their fee should be 15% with a maximum cost of £10k. I have to say I’m not unsatisfied with Fullbrooks or CSG work so far, just disappointed in the way I have had lack of evidence when it comes to proof of termination of contracts and the fact the 3rd timeshare I paid in full has been left to one side. The two companies don’t talk to each other which I find bizarre. I’ve queried their invoice and haven’t received a written explanation as of yet. For me this invoice gets paid in full and final once all 3 timeshares are settled taking into consideration the £6k paid. Has anyone else had the same experience?

Fullbrook Associates is highly recommended!

Fullbrook Associates has helped me greatly in recovering a substantial amount of my money which was scammed by a foreign Timeshare Termination company. Although the process has taken about 2 years but it was worthwhile. The company was very professional and guided me through step by step what I needed to do. I recommend this company to anyone who is in a similar situation.

Fullbrook Associates kept us fully updated with what was happening with our case with regular phone calls and emails, even if they had nothing to tell us they would check in and still let us know that they were pursuing our claim. Whenever we had a question, Fullbrook would reply to our query promptly. They have settled our claim and we are completely satisfied with everything they have done for us.

Thankful - I never thought it would be possible to…

I never thought it would be possible to retrieve the money I had spent out on my timeshare but with the help of Fulbrooks managed to get all the money I had 2 loans for back plus 8% simple interest on top. After I had paid Fulbrooks 30% I had still received more than the original loans. Thank you for your hard work on my behalf.

Claim Resolution

I recently had a claim lodged with Fullbrook regarding a commitment made over holidays. The company closed and I received no benefit whatsoever from the arrangement entered into. My claim was handled by Fullbrook with a successful outcome and money lost was returned. I am particularly grateful to Samantha Knowles for pursuing this relentlessly
