I was a little apprehensive ordering a new screen for Gigabyte Aero 15 XC (non OLED) as I wasn't sure exactly what I'd be getting but it turned out to actually look a little better than the old panel. With the old and new model numbers in hand, the specs of the replacement were mostly equivalent and if not, better. Nice, they're not just all talk. It arrived the next day and was packaging was 10/10. Lots of bubble wrap, thick corrugated box, etc. The price of the panel and the P&P are competitive but I did feel the double-sided adhesive strips were a little on the expensive side at £4.99. So why not a 5/5? I think 5/5 has to go the extra mile. I would've liked to see the panel I would actually get. Turned out alright but I didn't know until I'd got the thing with a model number in my hands. I could've just asked but I really just needed a new panel quickly. They're probably reliant on that. The replacement panel also has a stuck pixel which is disappointing. A single pixel isn't covered under warranty. That's apparently standard but it's crap and surprising that it's still a thing in 2024 with a 1080p panel. I suspect major manufacturers of most laptops/devices QA this a lot as I've found it pretty rare on new devices. Used as a cop out IMO. Offer an extended warranty on this as an extra and I'd buy it. An extra £20 to replace any panel not 100%? Yeah, I want my £600-800 (£2000 when new) laptop 100% again, duuuuh. I do have the option of returning it for a refund (not a replacement) according to their site but like hell is that panel going to come out again in once piece. I'll stick with it and be grumpy about it! :) So would I use laptop-lcd-screen again? Probably; they're fast and know their stuff. But it'd be very, very sus if I ended up with a panel with stuck/dead pixels again. Also shoutout to Gigabyte for using crap panels in the Aero 15 XC. 2 OEM panels have partially failed the same way in 3 years. Booo! Hoping this replacement fairs better. 1 stuck pixel is better than about 4000.

I have purchased a new screen to upgrade my ancient t440p and boy do I love the product I got! After placing the order I had a specific request for delivery and the seller acknowledged and replied within 10min!
