Worst experience ever/ matter resolved after all
Update: after leaving review I was contacted by healthy pets and the matter was resolved to my satisfaction. Worst experience ever. Decided not to renew current contract as the renewal quote was too expensive. I phoned them to cancel, was told all sorted. The next month I still get charged and when I phoned to get a refund the company claims I never phoned to cancel. Unfortunately Virgin cannot provide me with itemised bill as the phone call didn’t cost over 50 pence so I was left short.

No insurance cover , no protection for animals
If I could I would rate this company no stars ,my dog is 9 yrs old , I pay this company for hold cover £61 per month , I reviewed them over 1 week ago , the short version , despite my payments my dog injured his paw , he requires surgery following x rays , bill for x rays and surgery approximately 5-6k , Healthy pets contribution £1000 approximately, I have to pay between 4-5 k , why am I paying insurance ? , following my last review they replied asking me to contact them for further assistance , I have done this and have received no reply , looking back at reviews about this company is much more of the same , people pay a fortune for insurance to this company and they do not pay out , they also give a public response to contact them for further help , I have contacted previous customers who advised me that they have also been advised following negative review to contact Healthy Pets but they get no response , this is done to shut the customer down and to lie to public who are reading reviews that they will converse and assist customers with further assistance , keep away from this company , I have written to omnibus and will be giving story to national newspaper . I will keep you informed

Shockingly bad company
Shockingly bad company - please avoid at all costs!!! We had a claim for pneumonia treatment for our cat rejected based on the fact our cat had wheezing during the first 10 days of the policy, despite the pneumonia arising more than a year later, as the company told us that these must be related. After arguing this and getting the requested vets written confirmation that the illness we were claiming for could not possibly be related to symptoms seen at the beginning of the policy, the company decided to ignore the vet's expert opinion and continue to insist the two were related and they would therefore not pay. We have now taken this to the Financial Ombudsman who's findings agreed with us and the company was therefore asked to pay the claim. However, almost a month later they are still yet to agree to the investigator's findings, therefore this is likely going to have to be escalated further and drawn out even longer - we have been fighting this for almost a year already now! So, unless you like having your time wasted by what it clearly an incompetent company, I would strongly suggest using another provider!
