Really efficient service - Ideal for me
I posted my sample on September 9th, then received an email two days later (11th) to let me know it had been received and would take 7-10 working days from that point. I received my results today (18th), so I was happy with the efficiency of the service and the time frame. As for my results, I was pleasantly surprised by how relevant the results felt in picking up on a few suspicions I already had in terms of my food intolerances and nutritional deficiencies. I'm aware this kind of testing isn't for everyone, also that many people fail to grasp the difference between food intolerances and food allergies. I can't be certain at this point how much of a difference this will make to my life, but it's nice to have these results that I can use to make changes to my diet, to see if it improves my health.

When I was inquiring about purchasing the test, the response time by email was within a day. now that I have paid for the test, paid for expedited response (extra $15) I keep emailing them to ask why I haven't gotten my results yet, and no response received. I got an email saying the sample was received on sept 2nd, and I should have gotten results within 48 hours, and today, Sept 10th, after 2 more emails, no response. I will work on getting my money back, but seems to be a scam to me. (Update: I sent a reply as requested below and the answer was that they sent it on time but must have been in my spam. it wasn’t cause I checked daily. They also sent me only part of the results once I contacted them through the chat, and the 2nd half Was sent once I asked about it. And when I sent 2 more emails requesting a refund for at least the additional fee for expedited results, I heard crickets...no more replies, and my last email stated that I was sure no one else would respond and they haven’t). So customer service is less than one star unless it’s convenient for them.

Ich will jetzt hier nicht unfair sein. Aber ich habe eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Produkt von Test Your Intolerance gehabt. Meine erste Haarprobe ist ganz einfach nicht eingetroffen, wobei ich mich oft melden musste, um danach wie lange das noch dauern würde. Erst als ich mit einem Anwalt drohte, hat man mir gesagt, dass die Probe eigentlich schon eingetroffen sein sollte und dass ich eine zweite schicken sollte. Ich lehnte es natürlich sofort ab, da ich schon viel zu viel Zeit vergeudet hatte. Was dann passierte, war mein Versäumnis. Ich habe die Rückerstattung nicht sofort angefordert und die Regelzeit dafür ist ausgelaufen. Kulanz gibt es aber nicht, auch wenn ich umsonst gewartet habe. (Persönlich ist mir übrigens noch nie passiert, dass die Deutsche Post einen Brief von mir versäumt hätte, aber wenn sie sagen, dass das der Fall war, glaube ich auch daran.) Hätte ich bloß diese Bewertungen hier aber zuerst gelesen! Die Methode mit der Haaranalyse ist auch noch sehr umstritten für Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten! Und die wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen sind nicht genügend erforscht. Also, ich rate von dem Kauf ab!
Oplichters!!! Zelfs hun reactie
Oplichters! Ik ben al maanden aan het mailen en chatten want ik heb 3 maanden na verzending nog niks gehad. Ze hebben in het begin 1x gereageerd dat na een maand wachten het misschien nog langer kon duren. Dat vind ik eigenlijk al niet acceptabel. Want "misschien" is geen antwoord voor iemand die een dienst heeft betaald. Je hoort dus uit te zoeken wanneer het verzonden is en wanneer er ongeveer een uitslag kan komen. Maar zoals gezegd zijn we 3 maanden verder en reageren ze nergens op. Geen enkel fatsoenlijk bedrijf gaat zo met zn klanten om. Kijk wat ze nu als reactie geven, dat we hem niet verzonden hebben terwijl ik aangeef dat het 3 maanden na verzending is. Welk gedeelte van mijn review, mijn meerdere e-mails en chats heb je eigenlijk wel gelezen? Mijn review wordt zelfs niet serieus beantwoord echt super slecht. Reply dan eens op 1 email van me?
It’s a scam, don’t buy
It’s a scam. My results had inconsistencies so I emailed to ask about this, I was told they would contact the lab and I have had no reply to emails in weeks. Asked for a refund and have been ignored, whole problem could have been resolved if they bothered to reply to emails. If you go on their website and scroll to the small print at the bottom of the page they admit themself that the test has not been scientifically researched. Save your money and avoid the company at all cost.

I have many allergies (terrified of trying new foods), and being someone who wants to avoid taking blood, this was something I was willing to try. While the testing part of it takes some time, I was nervous with the results. I noticed, once I got them back, that there were some items that were familiar while a lot was not. However, the more I read, the more it made sense because of how I have been feeling. All in all, I would have liked to know the entire list of what was tested and the percentage, so that it can be used as reference of what can be consumed during an elimination diet. In addition, while I am a little hesitant to say, I would also like to get a second opinion since I am unsure as to how accurate the list is.
Great Overall Experience..Processing is Slow
I had a great experience with Test Your Intolerance Canada. The results were a bit of a surprise in some of the food areas but the nutritional and hormonal were spot on. Be prepared however, the process is long. Bank on about a month if you send it in immediately and pay fast track which I did. Overall I would recommend as it has helped me get a snapshot of my overall health and to pinpoint areas that were causing some issues. I would give 4 stars but only giving 3 due to the processing time. I feel like sending to a depot in Quebec first is an extra step not necessary.

First of all, this is a real and honest review. I see that Test Your Intolerance likes to respond to a poor review either by saying it’s fake or incorrect. This behaviour doesn’t surprise me after my experience with them. I don’t believe it was made clear that the sample is shipped to the UK (I live in NZ) and it took a month to arrive. Then they promise results in 7-10 business days after it has arrived at the lab. 12 business days later I still hadn’t received my results so I emailed them. They did not respond to my email within 24hrs as promised on their website. Their live chat function didn’t work at all. When they responded, they asked me to confirm my name, which was already stated throughout the email thread, along with my order number and is therefore a ridiculous request. I replied immediately. Two more days went by so I emailed again complaining about the situation and asking for a refund. They responded saying they had “resent” the results - even though they never sent them to me in the first place. Perhaps they had sent them to an incorrect email address, who knows, there was no explanation, they brushed off my complaint with an inadequate “apologies for the delay”, and they completely ignored my request for a refund. The “detailed” report they say they provide had little to no detail at all. The 19 page guide they provide to “help you read your results” had the most basic nutritional information such as eat lots of vegetables, get some exercise and stay hydrated. Not helpful. The 28 day follow up emails we never sent, I didn’t receive a single one. I requested a refund. They said this would be processed in 7-10 working days. After 11 working days I emailed them. They told me it had been processed and to go to my bank if I couldn’t see it within a week. Thankfully my refund has now come through, but the time and effort wasted was such a hassle and they did not apologise for their poor service; the emails I received from their team felt like templates rather than someone who genuinely cared about their customers, and that’s what annoyed me more than anything. Save your time and money. Use a different company. ***UPDATE*** I see Test Your Intolerance have replied to my review with their blanket official statement that these reviews are fake. I reiterate that my review is not fake and no one has paid me to post this. I also note that they don’t issue this official statement to any of the good reviews on this site, just the bad ones. I have found their response to be quite rude, distressing and frankly upsetting. As I said, what has annoyed me the most is the way I’ve been spoken to and treated, and their response reflects the way they treat their customers. My frustrations and opinions of my own experience have not been acknowledged with any sympathy, and I still feel like I have not been apologised to with any sincerity. To address their points: I used the New Zealand website, where the address says the world HQ is in New Zealand and was instructed to send my sample to a New Zealand address. In my opinion, this is why it wasn’t abundantly clear to me that the sample would be sent on to the UK for testing. I don’t dispute that you provide this information, I’m saying it wasn’t clear to me, and according to all the other poor reviews here, it wasn’t clear to them either so I recommend you alter your communications to overseas customers to make it much clearer rather than rudely blaming your customers. I live in NZ but I’m from the UK so I’m perfectly aware of when the UK bank holidays are and I factored these into the timeframes. The results were NOT sent to me on the 9th working day. I was regularly checking my inbox AND my junk folder during the time I expected my results and it was in neither. When I chased it up and was told it was “resent” I triple checked both my inbox and junk folder and could not find anything that was previously sent. Perhaps you had completed the results within the advertised time frame, but they were not correctly sent to me until I manually chased them up. I believe your company made an error here and all I ask is that you own it instead of insulting my intelligence. I did read about your product on your website, I do understand how worldwide postage works and I was as patient as I could be whilst receiving poor customer service. I am also sorry I chose your company, and I wonder how real and accurate the reviews are on the trusted shops account that you like to push so hard.

SCAM!!! Don’t waste your time & money, everything they say on their website is fake! They don’t have a 24h 5 days a week chat, and they only send automatic emails if you need help or explanations! They make it look it’s gonna be fast but your sample is sent to the UK. I had paid for a fast result it’s all fake don’t trust them. I wouldn’t even trust the results. They will keep asking for your order number or give you other stupid information to waste time. Ask for a refund as soon as possible I wish I had read these comments before ordering, such a huge scam. They’re doing the same thing they’re doing here, replying to these comments by a stupid automated message . But costumers say the truth and this is a huge big SCAM! Don’t order from Test Your Intolerance! You may wait for a month to get any kind of results ...and will it be yours ?? Not sure
