I used live365 for the last 8 years but…

I used live365 for the last 8 years but never had the features offered by Radio.co in the platform, the quality and the mobile apps features integrated. Also, the customer service at Radio.co is great. They are always there and available to address your issue on instant chat. No need to wait longer. Also they contact you with more tips on how to improve your Radio. Live 365 is offering me 25 % off to go back. But, I feel home here at Radio.co. You are the best.

Hi James and thank you for asking

Hi James and thank you for asking. I really do love the radio.co platform much more than any other streaming platform I have used. It is a bit pricy compared to other services, but the quality of the stream and up time of connection is far more superior than most. I do have one downside that I think other services do better and that is the integration to Twitter feed, I've been asking about this for a few years with no real response, when will the integration be able to post the album art along with the message it sends out? This is a huge deal being people are way more responsive and more likely to interact and retweet when an image is involved. Also I use the app option so others can download to their android devices. Will there ever be an update that will have a real time chat interface so listeners can talk to each other? I really wish the app was more like the Gimme Radio app. It allows users to be much more involved and social with fellow listeners. Thank you 😊

Excellent Service Across The Board!

Thus far, Radio.co has been everything we've wanted here at Garinger Broadcasting and more! We've been successfully streaming for over 17 years, and Radio.co has to be considered our very "BEST" service. Now we can "comfortably" continue to grow our listenership and business! Thanks Guys! G

Why I left Radio.co

NEW REVIEW: Because the old review is important, I'll leave this up. For $69 a month, I don't expect any stream interruptions. I received more complaints from my listeners about stream interruptions with Radio.co than with an 8 dollar server from Streamerr in a whole year. The final straw is the level of brutality of this company. I had purchased an Android app service from them for an additional $15 per month. After a while I decided to stop with this because I don't think it's worth paying 15 per month extra while at Envato Market I spend a little more once for something more extensive. When I canceled this service, Radio.co is secretly advertising trying to make my listeners their customers. Anyone who has installed the app (everyone) will see a screen to start their own radio at Radio.co. So, in practice, I paid Radio.co so that they can advertise through the app. This is not stated anywhere in their TOS. OLD REVIEW: I have been a customer of Radio.co since August. I used Centova before that. The interface is extremely user-friendly and I love the extensive documentation that this company provides. The customer service is easily approachable via chat but unfortunately not always a reply within the 24 hour standard but I can see they do their best and they are very polite. The technical aspect of Radio.co. Radio.co's product offers many options but it has some glitches. When you update the Playlist and press save, tracks that I have put in order are shuffled and I have to put them again in the desired order. When I want to adjust a repeated schedule point, this goes wrong in the schedule page. I pay $69 a month. On the sales page/home page 99.9% up-time is guaranteed. However, this has not been shown in practice. In one month I received more complaints from my listeners about interrupting stream than I received with a $8.50 Centova radio server in 3 months (and I had more listeners). In a period of a month I had a long period of down time due to technical problems and maintenance. This is deadly for any radio station. I also received complaints from my listeners and negative reviews about interrupting streams and some radio devices not being able to connect. I never experienced this while I was with centova. To test, I am now listening to my stream non-stop, in one hour the stream did indeed stop. I was able to listen to my stream again after a few minutes. So for $69 a month and the promise of 99.9% up-time, I as a customer expect a good working product as advertised on the official Radio.co website. The extras are nice, but for me the most important thing is that I can take my radio station to the next level. I wait and see I see improvements this year and give Radio.co the benefit of the doubt.

Super Easy to setup and use

From someone that has had nothing to do with a radio station until last 5 days ago. I have been able to setup a radio station, broadcast live, setup playlist for when we are not live all from zero knowledge of radio stations. This setup is really easy to you, super intuitive and also been able to get instant help when I needed it via the chat.

Radio.co is so easy to use

Radio.co is so easy to use. Not used tutorials yet, as I’ve found it so easy to setup without. The customer service team was s really responsive. I’d certainly continue to use this platform and recommend to anyone wanting to start their own station. So big thanks from FDSL Radio.

Career Booster!

This whole team has really helped me and my internet radio station reach a whole new level. The integrated features and add-ons have let me customize and build to give my brand a polished and professional look. As a working DJ, the stream side is incredibly reliable with little to no issues connecting or any server downtime.

Reliable, with a couple of caveats

As far as the reliability of the actual stream goes, which is ultimately what we're doing with you, you're doing a great job! The scheduling and integrations into our radio website leaves a few things to be desired. It would be great if we can more easily and seamlessly provide api / metadata to be used elsewhere for what's playing (especially the current song widget, which we have issues with all the time) and the schedule (again, the widget here isn't very intuitive, and we'd like to feed data to our own design a bit better). Moreover, with the playlists and scheduling, we have issues when going live — the currently playing data simply doesn't update, and the workarounds we've been provided is bizarre! I know we're not in the highest tier of monthly billing packages, but with our incredibly weak currency compared to the big 3 ($, euro and pounds), this is a big monthly expense for our fledgling station, and feel issues around the backend and going live shouldn't be so complicated. But like we said, all in all, listening quality and reliability of the stream is crisp and fast – it's more the backend parts that need some TLC.

Highly Recommended

Very user friendly interface and great customer support. Seems as though there is a lot of work behind the scenes to continue to improve options based off user recommendations. Highly recommended.
