Charlie was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Although very busy in her work she always came back to us and apologised when appropriate. We kept with her over a few weeks, sorting through all options concerning our Trip. We got there in the end because once we feel comfortable with an Advisor we follow through to the end as loyalty breeds loyalty. Travel Nation has always delivered to my wife and myself over the past 30 odd years. To be recommended.

Bad in management or tendency to swindle its customers...
Travel Nation is a great company! They are so dedicated to their clients, ready to do anything to help them in case of need. Their professionalism is of an incredible level, they keep you informed of the evolution of your file on a regular basis, inform you as soon as they have obtained the reimbursement of your cancelled flights (during the pandemic). Impressively thorough, the amounts are perfectly calculated to the penny. They are also excellent merchants, ready to make a commercial gesture if you lose important amounts following the bankruptcy of an airline. All of this with the aim of building loyalty among customers who have already been won over by the exemplary nature of all their services... If only I could write one of these lines and believe it... The story begins in 2019. We are preparing our family trip. TN is very attentive. Very nice, very regular calls. This was before paying the tickets for 13 months of travel. The rest, very banal from reading many comments already published: interruption in March 2020 and waiting, long wait without information from TN about the reimbursement of our flights canceled by the companies due to the pandemic. After a few months of patience we come to the news. Not very good. Then after a new reminder on 24/02/2021, a good news: Avianca refunds 572 £. Still 3 flights on 2 companies and a much higher amount... We are waiting to see... On 20/11, without any news for 9 months, new relaunch. And then, oh miracle, on 30/11, I receive the following message: 1 refund from Air Transat has just arrived and I am offered a global refund of £2205 (minus the 10% of course...) On 02/12, I still ask for the details of this amount which seems to come out of a hat. Trust is to be earned, and this does not exclude control... New message received on 03/12: "Air Transat: £1889.20 Avianca : £572.62 Interjet went bankrupt so you will not receive a refund from this airline (£1165 anyway). It is not Travel Nation's responsibility to reimburse you for the amount lost." A bit skeptical I write to them again, wanting to understand where these figures come from : Here's what we've been getting from TN for the past year and a half: On 04/15/2020: TN sends a trip interruption invoice in the amount of £4738.70, the amount of our unused flights. On 14/08/2020, TN sends a message telling us that it can apply to Air Transat for a credit of £2068. On 07/12/2020, TN sends a message to inform us of an Interjet credit of £1165. On 24/02/2021, a refund from Avianca of £572.62. I calculate: 4738.70 - (2068 + 1165 + 572.62) = £932.38 Where did the almost £1000 missing go?!?! The trip interruption invoice left us with the hope of recovering a substantial sum; again TN sweeps this away with some "panache": 12/16/2021 : The trip interruption invoice sent in April was for your travel insurance. It was an estimate of the value of the unused flights, based on mileage. It was not a confirmation of the value of the refunds we would receive from the airlines. Mmmmh...? A wet-finger estimate for the insurance companies...? I contact the airlines to try to verify what TN tells me. On 03/02/2022, Air Transat replies that they reimbursed on 04/06/2021 (and not end of November 2021), the sum of £2069, and not £1889, as TN says. New message to TN, who replies on 03/30/2022: "Excuse me I thought you were going to send me an official attestation from Air Transat. The email you sent me is just an email that announces the original price of these tickets at £2069.20. Travel Nation received £1889.20 as a refund." TN needed to contact Air Transat again to better understand the discrepancy between these two amounts. On 03/05/2022, TN replied: "Air Transat has announced refunds of £2069.20. We have received on our side £1989.20". Oh, it's not £1889.20 anymore??? I am offered to add £80 to get back to the amount actually refunded as a commercial gesture. Magic! On 24/05/2022 Air Transat re-confirms the amount of £2069. In short, TN provides false documents for insurance purposes, is opaque on dates and amounts refunded, and when they get caught, simply offers to return what they tried to "take away" from you. On the 4738£ of remaining tickets, I was offered 2069 + 572 = 2641 - 10%, which means that £1165 was lost for Interjet and £932 vanished (but maybe not for TN). This is my experience...

Exceptional service! Ruth Kössel has planned and replanned, booked and rebooked our family holiday again and again over the past 2 years when we had to change our destination several times due to COVID and all the time she was there to answer my questions. Emails were replied to promptly and every change recorded meticulously.This has been our 3 rd trip organized by Travel Nation, hopefully many more to come!

Returning customer for third time used…
This is the third time we've used Travel Nation, and yet again they sorted out our travel arrangements. So easy and friendly to deal with Charlie was excellent and did her utmost to get the best flights for us. Hopefully we'll be back next year. Thanks to Charlie ten out of ten Janice
Simply superb!!
This is now the second trip I have returned from that Travel Nation has helped me realise, and again, they have come up trumps! I give them very short notice and they manage to listen very carefully to what I like and want, and organised the most amazing trip. Scott created a whole itinerary in Colombia and Ecuador that worked around some other travel I was doing, and it was everything I asked for and more! Nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond with everything from start to finish. I was looked after so well, both here with all the planning by Scott, and when I was away. Thank you so much for the most incredible adventure! As I have said before, I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Excellent service to help us get booked on a complicated trip of a lifetime
The organisation of our journey was faultless
Our journey took us to San Francisco for 3 nights , we are early birds and loved the walk along the marina and piers before breakfast . Then sight seeing and shopping We cycled across the Golden Gate bridge but its not for the faint hearted . Best dining on our whole journey was Fogs on pier 39 . Tahiti was a one night stop over at Pearl Resort , we would have liked to have stayed longer it was lovely there . Then 7 nights on the island of Moorea ,French Polynesia . We stayed at the Hilton and enjoyed every minute . We hired a buggy and ate out most evenings , Rudys was our favourite. The quad bike guided tour is amazing ! We then flew to Bora Bora staying at the Conrad for 7 nights . Its a stunning area the sea is crystal clear and everywhere is spotless . Be prepared for early nights, there is nothing after 9pm unless you want to sip cocktails and stare through the glass floor at the sharks. We were prepared for the extreme cost of dining, unfortunately the quality never matched the price ! The best dining was on the main island at a fraction of the price, even taking in the cost of the sea taxi ! We then flew to Los Angeles for a few days , we loved Santa Monica beach and Venice beach there was loads going on all along the boulevard . The bus tour is a must ! Our flights were all business class which really helped with such long journeys. We returned to the Uk after 23 days . Everything was organised by Ruth Koessel through Travel Nation . Her attention to detail made every part of our journey faultless .
