I would like to say I have been using RG Law for the past several years and not once I have had any issues from them. I have had dealings with them for buying properties and commercial businesses and at no times they have left me with any complaints. From admin staff all the way to specialist who deal with your case are extremely professional. Recently I have been purchasing a business and my solicitor Uba Ngenegbo was so helpful from start to all the way. This transaction was extremely difficult due to issues from the seller side, however Uba worked really hard to overcome the situation, which I was very pleased with. Also Akshaye Gunputh who was working alongside Uba, was so efficient in dealing with all my enquiries and so professional. I would like to thanks both for helping me and supporting me throughout the way and RG Law as a firm.

If you are a first-time buyer who isn’t familiar with the process, I wouldn’t recommend RG Law. I had been advised to go with them by a friend, however, the solicitor who dealt with her exchange is no longer at the company. At the initial stage of purchasing a property, I put money aside for fees that would arise during the process. My issue, however, is that the initial figures on the quote I received from RG Law was a mistake – something I was later told yet still forced to pay. I chose this firm based on their initial quote so this is something I found to be misleading. Before I opened my case with RG Law, they quoted £135 for the Land Registry fee, however on my final invoice, I was charged £330. When I enquired about this, the solicitor – Sara - said that the increase was based on the fact we were dealing with a new lease. She also mentioned that had this not been the case, the initial fee I was given (£135) would still have been incorrect because the Land Registry fee had increased to £270, after 31st January 2022. When I was told I was dealing with a new lease in January, no one had mentioned that the cost of the Land Registry fee would increase. I went ahead and paid the fee anyway as RG Law were constantly holding back/delaying the process which was frustrating for both myself and the seller who wanted to move quickly. I saw email chains between the seller’s lawyers and mine where they were querying RG’s slow response. I’ve given a 2 star because I did end up getting my flat in the end but for someone who was new to the process, I didn’t feel confident/supported. The sellers were threatening to pull out due to the slow response. I was told at the very end that the land registry fee had increased threefold and although Sara explained that I should have been notified, I felt pressured to pay. It was really stressful/unpleasant at the end.

I have just bought my first property and dealt with Olivia Lyall who was absolutely fantastic. Anytime I had a question or needed anything, Olivia was there looking after my purchase. I couldn’t be happier with the service.

Jenny and Jordanne are unbelievably amazing I was having problems with my property and only had a month to go before I lost my mortgage in principle but Jenny and Jordanne pulled out all the stops and completed at 5.19pm on very last day, it was so close. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me and I would 100% recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Big thanks to Olivia and team for being so professional, approachable and courteous. Everything was handled in a very proactive and efficient manner and I felt that I was in safe hands throughout the whole process.
