I recently had cataract surgery carried out to both my right and left eyes by Mr Vincenzo Maurino which produced excellent results to my eyesight and has been a transforming experience. I was quite anxious about my cataract surgery as in the past I had Lasek surgery and I was told I had thin corneas. I was pleased to find Mr Vincenzo Maurino as he had the right expertise for my case. I wanted to be as glasses free as possible so I chose a premium lens rather than the NHS option. I am very pleased with the result of my surgery and I would highly recommend Mr Maurino. The recovery period is important, so ensure you take the time you need to recover well. For me that was two weeks.

Mr.Maurino is an extraordinarily skillful surgeon. Having read the information regarding possible postoperative side effects, in fact l haven't experienced any one of those. Right after the day of the operation my sight was crystal clear and l did not need painkillers or any other remedies. I believe that the positive, supportive attitude of the clinician contribute crucially to the recovery of the patient. I must say that Mr Maurino is a rare example of the mixture of supreme skill and tireless support. I was extremely grateful that when he discovered some bleeding around an old mole in the eye, he made maximum effort for me to be referred speedily to oncology.
