All of the team, made the experience pleasant and reassuring, that the best possible care was being given to you personally. My only disappointment was the daycare private patient accommodation was not of a higher standard. The Club Lounge had comfortable relaxing chairs, and shared partitioned area. On the ward, the seating was very uncomfortable, and isolated in a single room. The food supplied was not what I would have expected as a private patient. However, I am totally happy with the treatment I have received by all members of staff. Thank you.

Mr Maurino and his team are very professional and went out their way to put me at ease, as I was very nervous. The procedure was painless and completed in a very short time. The aftercare was fabulous and I felt I could contact any of the team at anytime if I needed to (I didn't). After wearing glasses and contacts lenses for over 20 years, I now have 20/20 vision. Mr Maurino was recommended to me by 2 people and I would have absolutely no reservation in recommending him to others. I wish I had had laser surgery done years ago. I'm sure everyone's experience is different but in my experience the Lasek Procedure was painless and achieved a perfect result. Mr Maurino is very pleasant friendly and professional. He patiently and fully answered my numerous questions before surgery and guided me through every step throughout the procedure and therefore I knew what to expect which put my mind at ease. I would rate is service first class. After the surgery, I felt so much at ease that when I went back to the waiting room to meet my family, they'd asked me whether I had in fact had the procedure done or whether I had pulled out at the last moment as they were in disbelief when they saw me smiling and just heard me laughing in the corridor whilst walking back with the nurse. I would highly recommend Mr Maurino to anyone considering corrective laser surgery.

I cannot recommend this procedure more highly! From start to finish every interaction I had with Mr Maurino and his staff was extremely professional, informative, and reassuring. The initial consultation was extremely thorough, every step of the process was explained to me and all of my questions were answered very thoughtfully. The procedure itself was amazingly quick and totally painless. It was complete within 15 minutes! Mr Maurino and all the nurses went out of their way to make sure that I was totally at ease throughout the experience. I am a serving police officer so the recovery time for this surgery was extremely important to me as I knew it would affect my ability to get back to full duties. I was delighted to realise that my eyesight was almost perfect overnight. Moreover I was able to return to work immediately. The aftercare treatment was detailed, precise and easy to follow even though my job is not desk-based. Before this treatment I had worn glasses or contact lenses for a decade. The nature of my profession means that due to unforeseen circumstances my lenses could remain in my eyes for up to 18 hours a day. I cannot explain how freeing it feels to know that I will never suffer that awful tired, itchy feeling again. I consider the decision to have this surgery, and choose Mr Maurino be the one to perform it, one of the best decisions I have ever made.
