very good service

The food boxes were always on time with texts to let me know of their approximate delivery time. Unfortunately I didn't like most of the meals I picked, the texture was very often like that of baby food, especially the Bolognaise and also some of the soups. The lemon protein bar had very little taste and the texture very dry. The same can be said of the other bars not at all what I expected. The milk shakes are very bland, but with a bit of artificial sweetener added they turned out to be very nice. As you can see I don't rate the food very highly but the service was very good and I will probably continue to order the milk shakes as I need them, as they are a very filling drink, which will be very helpful in my quest to lose or stabilise my weight.

Not much variety in ready made packages

I bought the surgery kit and with the variety of flavours available and given that it was the first time that I had bought I was surprised by the lack of variety. I will have to be living on at least one banana shake and a mushroom soup daily as I was sent so many of these flavours. Guess these are not the popular ones. On the brighter side - the flavours I have had so far are very nice. Nice to have ready made food. ANSWER TO YOUR COMMENT Hi. I was surprised about this too. I received a five week surgery pack which is packaged by yourselves (?) so I didn't get any choice of flavours. I had 2 big bags of banana / one strawberry / on vanilla and one mixed. With regard to soup I have 9 thai / 10 Butternut & 19 mushroom. There are a lot other soup flavours and I do seem to have an abundance of the same. With the shakes it would have been nice to have had one less banana and a chocolate instead. If you are happy to change these free of charge that would be great

Rich & Filling

the cookie was lovely and moist. I did find it very rich and only ate half then the other half later. Much more filling than the shakes though :D

at first yum then yuk!

at first the initial taste was smooth and pleasant, it was smooth sort of fake gooey initial chocolate taste but sadly after chewing it was more powdery than pleasant. In fact I actually chose to throw it away rather than waste the calories!

I can't believe it's not fattening!

Being a bit of a chocaholic I wondered if the double choc chip cookie would live up to my expectations.... it did, and I liked the white choc chip and strawberry even more! Really filling and as I can't eat a whole one, it's a morning and afternoon treat to help get me through a busy day.

Brilliant!

Who knew that a cookie could be so filling?! I have it for breakfast or lunch and it keeps me going for hours. Also makes for a delicious guilt free pudding (and is especially good after 30 seconds in the microwave!). I'm a busy student and I've been recommending it to all my friends because it's perfect to just grab and go when you're in a rush.

If I have never have to eat one again I'll die happy.....

Really horrid..... The texture has the density of a car tyre, and is as chewy as molten rubber, and the taste is a mixture of yoghurty, chocolatey (but only slightly), burnt egg white. I'm willing to eat stuff that tastes and feels really nasty if the nutritional benefits are there, but this thing not only weighs half a tonne, it has more than 400 calories in it! It might have lots of protein and fibre, but surely I'd be better off eating a banana? In fact I'd probably fair better eating a banana dipped in chocolate sauce to be honest! Sorry, but this is a case of tear up the recipe and start again.
