So far, things have gone really well. The VAT ID registration process was faster than we expected, and the consultant explained everything clearly. They even suggested a cheaper plan that worked better for us, which we appreciated. One downside is the knowledge base—it’s not very thorough. A lot of the questions we had weren’t answered there, so we had to contact support for help. Luckily, the support team responds quickly and gives clear instructions. We did run into an issue with the German tax authorities when they asked for a document that doesn’t exist anymore because of changes made by the Estonian tax authorities. It took a while to sort out, but the consultant managed to convince the German authorities and got the application approved. Overall, the process has been smooth, and everyone we’ve worked with has been easy to communicate with. There’s room for improvement in the knowledge base, but the service itself has been solid, and the pricing is fair.

Very good communication and very professional

The service provided by Hellotax from the moment i contacted them to request information has been very professional. They inmediately assigned me an advisor in the language of my preference and guided me throughout the entire process until i got my VAT number swhere i needed them.

I curse the day I found this company. If you don't stay away from this company, you will lose a lot, you will lose a lot of time, you will have no patience, you will go crazy!!! They will constantly tell you lies, constantly distract you, make fun of you, and will definitely not keep their promises. Below I will write down some of the problems I experienced. There are not enough words to write it all. 1-They said they would get the German VAT number within a maximum of 3 months. But due to the problems they had with their workers, this process took 8 months. 2- They said that they would develop software within 1-2 months to automatically convert invoices into Excel tables. And exactly 1 year has passed and still nothing. 3-Since I cannot receive any service from hellotax, we, together with my employees, prepare all the Excel tables required for my company's tax declaration. All Hellotax needs to do is to forward this fully prepared tax declaration to the German tax office. 4- But of course they can't even do this. They sent my fully prepared tax declaration to the German tax office exactly 2.5 months later. I learned this with the letter I received from the German tax office. 5- They said that I would definitely not be penalized for this delay, but in case of any penalty, Hellotaxin would cover it all. But when the penalty letter came from the German tax office for delay, they disappeared. They don't answer emails. 6- They miscalculated even this tax declaration, for which everything was ready, and declared it incorrectly to the tax office. And so I ended up with a tax debt of 1400 euros more than I had to pay. They said this would be fixed. But of course this was also a lie. They did nothing for exactly 1 month. And together with the enforcement warning and penalty fee I received from the German tax office for delaying the payment, I had to pay my tax debt, which was 1450 euros more than the tax I had to pay. 7- They still do not respond to e-mails, they still have not paid the delay penalty they promised to pay. They disappeared!! 8- Because of this company, I am at a loss of 3100 euros, including the annual subscription fee I paid to them. And I haven't even mentioned the time I lost, the damage I suffered due to the interruption of my work, and the nervous stress I experienced. and this was just during a tax filing process. What if I had to file more tax returns with this company? 9- We continue to negotiate with lawyers for all these grievances, material and moral damages. and we will initiate a legal process in a short time. Finally, definitely stay away from this company! Pay a little more and find a good accountant or software company. Below are the names of those who contacted me in this company during this process. You send an e-mail, and if they are happy with it, they send you an empty e-mail full of lies and distractions days later. Registration support is very good, fast, and responsive. Quality of filing is same as expected, i.e. value for money is okay. I recommend hellotax for non EU Amazon sellers. It is tricky for EU established company to use hellotax though.
