Broken automation
Broken automation, delays and extra fees. This company seemed like a good way to streamline everything together an intensive course. However, as soon as I was set up on the system the problems set in. I got an email saying my license details were incorrect. Now if I could just contact someone, this wouldn't be an issue, I'd find what was wrong and fix it. However, this was an automated system error, so I couldn't find out what was wrong. I called multiple times, but no one picked up the phone, so I emailed. The person who replied was perfectly polite, but didn't tell me what was wrong and told me to upload a scan of my license, which I did. For five days I went back and forth trying to find out what the issue was and getting nowhere, until I was told if I didn't upload a scan of my license (which I had days ago) I'd be charged a £50 fee to "unlock" my course. Worse they threatened that if I still couldn't fix the issue after that my entire course would be cancelled with no refund. So that would be £350 paid for no services rendered. Remember, this was also a threat they issued after just 5 days, during which I'd been in contact trying to solve the issue every day. And still no one would actually tell me what had caused the system error. Some of their courses are thousands, and I have no reason to believe they treat people on those courses any differently. Shortly after posting this, the issue mysteriously resolved itself. Which is great. But it shouldn't take posting a negative review to get a fix to a system problem, and companies certainly shouldn't threaten to walk off with a £300 deposit because of an automated system error. Further issues, I had to rebook my theory test due to a schedule conflict. I did this via the DVSA website (where it was free), took it and passed. But I could not update this on my account without paying a £50 fee. Again, DVSA lets you reschedule for free yourself, but PMF wanted a £50 fee when they had done literally nothing.

Passmefast was one of the best decision I have made to get driving lessons. The staff was helpful, efficient and great with assigning the right instructor to you based on your location also setting up your practical test appointment. The instructor I was assigned was great could not have gotten a better person for the job as Daniel was patient and knowledgeable about what he was teaching with good communication skills. Thanks all!!!!
