Penrose Products Very occasionally I come across a British Company that deserves my business and I am delighted to say that Penrose is one of them. I have been on the search for the last two years for an eco friendly pillow. I originally purchased a Mulberry silk pillow but later found out that the silk worms are killed in the process. I then discovered that Alpaca pillows maybe the answer. Searching the internet Penrose Products came top of the list and further research seemed to suggest that they also made pillows for other companies. Unfortunately the size of the pillows were not what I required but as they were only an hour’s drive away I gave them a call to arrange a viewing at their showroom so I could judge the quality of the products. I was met by Den a very friendly and enthusiastic owner. Den had expert knowledge and understanding of her products and took me on a tour of the factory that lasted well over an hour. At no time did I feel pressurised into making a purchase and she even gave me a sample pillow to try at home. All of the staff were friendly and they took pride in their craft. The products are extremely well made and they were more than happy to make the pillows to my size and also adjust the fill power. It is worth noting that Penrose will undertake a whole range of stuff that’s not mentioned on the website including very high quality printing and embroidery. After I returned home I decided that I liked the companies ethos and e-mailed Den with my requirements. To my surprise they did not charge extra for my bigger pillows and the work was completed within a week. I will always buy British if possible but unfortunately too many companies care more about profits than the quality of the products. I am pleased to say that Penrose are both top quality and have genuine green credentials. I will be buying all my bedding from here in the future.

I was looking for an eco-friendly and ethical pillow made from natural fibers and also made in the UK, so I did a lot of googling and came across these pillows and duvets. They tick all the boxes! Amazing quality at a good price. I love that it comes in a reusable bag/cover and the pillow is so comfortable and fluffy while still giving good support. Super fast delivery too. I'll be recommending them!

I have been looking for a mattress topper for awhile when I stumbled across Penrose, I am so glad I found them, they use all natural materials and are ethical and sustainable, what’s not to love. I decided on getting the alpaca box topper and am so glad I did. It arrived yesterday and I have to say I had one of the best nights sleep I have had in ages. The craftsmanship is excellent and fitted my mattress perfectly. I will be looking at more of their products. Very highly recommended.

MASKS ARE USELESS! They are badly designed and do not stay in place. So shameful to exploit this pandemic.

I don't often write reviews but in this circumstance I couldn't wait to! Since staying at Lime Wood 5* Hotel in Lymington last year, I have been looking to buy a bespoke mattress topper to recreate the experience I had when staying there. I looked to purchase the Vispring topper but after finding out the price I felt I needed to see what other options were on the market. I stumbling upon Penrose's website and after checking out their products, reviews and the company ethos and ethics, I knew this was the company I needed to buy from. This was further enhanced after speaking to Denise. She took the time to find out what I wanted, explained the materials, how they were constructed and the benefits of them. She sent me photos and videos and even gave me the discount I would have received had I ordered on-line. Denise advised me that my order would be delivered personally and I was given the date, time and updates. The topper arrived driven, and personally installed by Denise and Paul, and the quality and craftsmanship is second to none (thank you Dan!). For half the price of Hypnos and Vispring I have got a six layer topper filled with alpaca wool and sheep's wool and it is like sleeping on a cloud - just what I had asked for. This company and their products are still a well kept secret, but not for long I don't think. If you are looking for amazing customer service, along with ethics and stunning products, you don't need to look anywhere else. I was only able to give 5 stars, but I would give 10 if I could. Bought my Penrose Alpaca duvet a year ago after having corresponded with the company owner about my needs. I was so reassured and felt entirely confident about the product I was choosing to invest in. Among the major pluses was that Penrose offer a fibre refresh service which is an environmentally friendly, sustainable way to ensure your bedding is clean, hygienic and lasts a life time. My original order was 1 day late to leave them. I was sent an Alpaca filled pillow as a gift which was a lovely gesture. I was able to choose the amount of filling I wanted thus ensuring my duvet suited me in every possible way with commitment to return it for adjusting if I was not happy. Both the care given and the the Alpaca bedding product is outstanding and exceptional.
