This is the first time I’ve remortgaged my house and with The Mortgage People it’s been stress free, straight forward and I will definitely using them again in the future.

From the initial conversation, through to the completions team was fantastic. However, I would say the Completions Team were a little slower than the rest of the service given, which is why there are only 4/5 stars. However, was really simple to set up and got the best rate on the market. Easy communication, friendly staff, will use again in the future.

We have just completed on a remortgage courtesty of Your Mortgage People. Our experience has been a very good one throughout from the first conversation with the initial representative, through to the final completion on 5th December 2022. In the first conversation, YMP found a competitive mortgage deal at a good rate (despite the current interest rate situation), and were quickly able to confirm that I would be approved in principle (subject to further checks etc.) The correspondence that followed throughout was clear and helpful, guiding us through the process in terms of which documents to submit, and arranging the free valuation and solicitor involvement. The solicitor company (Enact) were also easy to deal with via an online app which showed progress and made communication very simple and quick. On the whole, very happy with the remortgage deal and the customer service from Your Mortgage People and would recommend to others on the basis of our personal experience.

In late 2022, amid the most alarming headlines about mortgage rates spiking and people not being able to afford to keep their homes as a result, Your Mortgage People could not have been more supportive and helpful in getting us through our remortgage.
