Avoid this company Very important you check you email

I ordered a General Waste skip as I was planning to do a fair old clearance in my house. Was a good job I checked my email the next day as I found out the list was quite extensive and I couldn’t put in half the stuff I was planning to put in so within 24 hours I rang to cancel it to be told that even though I was giving nearly a months notice I still had to pay a cancellation charge of £50 plus Vat. Exasperated I asked the guy I was speaking to whether he was joking to which he replied no but would speak to a manager to see if he could get it reduced. He succeeded in getting it down to £36 inc VaT which I was still not happy about but paid but they are making money off people if you give more than fair notice to cancel a skip through them. Personally I would avoid at all costs

don't use web site!

I booked on their web site. They did not supply skip and wouldn't talk over the phone. After 10 emails they offered me a skip at a higher price which I refused and they refunded my payment. Web site gives false information do not use it, ring them. Their office employees will not deal with web customers over the phone. They are based in Norfolk. If you are not in Norfolk use a company near you.

Shocking service Skip was meant to come on Friday got a call saying can’t deliver today we will come Monday am — came in afternoon Called company many times to be fobbed off with excuses

Shocking experience with this company

Shocking experience with this company. DO NOT USE. We initially paid online & were contacted asking for more money as the website had displayed the wrong price. We reluctantly did this despite it not being our issue/fault. The skip was then attempted to be delivered a day before the agreed date when we didn’t even own the house it was being delivered to (hence selecting the delivery day we initially had) making our move day even more stressful as we were having to try & sort out an issue not of our making. We thought that would be that once we cancelled our order & requested a full refund. However, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. We were informed the refund would take up to 5 working days.. 10 working days later we are still waiting for our money back despite being assured the refund had been processed. Again, the communication has been appalling as I was promised a call back after the call handler had spoken to the relevant team & nothing has been received. I’m currently doubtful whether we’ll see our money again. This company is truly incompetent & treat customers appalling. I’d strongly recommend anyone to steer clear as they are appalling to deal with.

Straightforward ordering and delivery.

Easy to order online. Information I needed to decide on what skip to hire is on the website. Price is good. Delivered in a timely manner. Driver contacted me before delivery on the day.
