Online regional purchaser. Lovely customer service from any store I called, and they helped getting the health insurance codes I needed quickly. The try at home kit and the glasses themselves both arrived quicker than I thought. The advice about colours from a real person as opposed to seeing just online when I called really helped. The try on kit is currently circulating around my friends here, so I think we're onto a winner :)

Frame set took 3 follow ups to arrive and did so after 2 weeks

I ordered a try at home frame set and it took approx 2 weeks to arrive. I used the Dresden chat function and sent a message using the Contact feature on the website enquiring about the lack of order info in my account and didn't get a response from either method. After approx 10 days I phoned the Ponsonby store and talked to a really helpful and friendly optometrist who apologised and told me the try at home frames person had been away with an injury and she organised a package to be sent out. I explained that I wanted to get them so that when visiting Auckland I could come to the Vulcan Lane store and order my son some glasses and take them home. The frame pack didn't arrive before I went to Auckland and I had a really small window of 30 min to be able to make the visit but thought I could get it sorted given that it's not meant to take long. So I dashed to the Vulcan Lane store in the rain and got there at 1pm to find a note in the window saying it was closed for lunch until 1.30pm! So all in all, not an ideal Dresden experience. I still have the frame pack at home and hope to be able to order some online, so fingers crossed!

Love my Dresdens

Love my Dresdens! Hard to decide what colour to wear each day. Great staff and very helpful. Missed getting a few details from me which delayed the process and delivery, but they put it right and added a few freebies. So they still deserve five stars. I will be back!
