If there was a zero-star option
If there was a zero-star option, that's what I would choose. I applied for a business multi-currency account in December 2023 Based on the awesome reviews from satisfied customers here, and they asked for numerous documents. However, there was a lack of communication. Every time I submitted additional documents, they gave me false hope that the account would be opened. I provided all the required documents, including the source of funds and bank statements from a certified accountant from a verified translation center. Then, they asked for more documents related to the certifier. I provided the necessary documentation from the verified translation center because the documents were in Arabic language and they said the account would be opened. last week they asked for additional documents, they asked for proof of agreement, or proof of purchase of goods. They assured me that once these additional documents were provided, the account would be opened. However, today they sent me an email declining the account opening without any explanation.! If I had known this would happen, I would have chosen a different platform. Why do you ask for additional documents if you are just going to decline the application? why do you give false hope? Despite the money spent on obtaining these documents from banks, a verified translation center, and a chartered accountant, Shopify plan subscription, my account has been declined with no explanation. Thank you for wasting my time and money. thank you for the terrible experience and the overwhelming frustration that I felt.

The very quick reply to my email and the efficient way my request was handled and actioned made my experience really good. After several years of using FairFx services and being very happy with all aspects I found it apposite to close my account( I no longer intend to travel abroad). Sbongakonke Zondo handled my request and gave me an easy to follow checklist to close my account. The understanding and professionalism they showed was excellent.
