Having rung to ask for some help and advice Adam was most helpful and advised that there were better options than what I was considering. Using the original saddle on the Celestron AVX there were lots of “bite marks” on the dovetail plate of my Redcat 71 and balancing the setup was tricky. The mechanics of this new ADM saddle provide a much more stable and secure hold and the large tightening knobs make it easy to adjust and balance the scope! I was delighted to find that RV optics had the item in stock and it arrived 2 days after ordering ( to N Ireland) - first class service! Replacing the item on the AVX mount was very straightforward after watching a clear detailed video by AstroBlender on YouTube.

Contacted RVO to ask if they'd price-match a Celestron Advanced VX 8" EdgeHD. Adam replied promptly and agreed to do so. Order was placed and was received the following day. Can't fault the service received.
