We completed the purchase of our house in May this year and was issued an amended financial statement advising we'd overpaid and were due some money back. Fast forward 4 months and we've received another amended financial statement advising our mortgage lender had underpaid by £10 and that we're now liable to pay this charge. Despite emailing, we're getting absolutely no response. Cannot understand why we're being chased for this when it was our mortgage lender who has underpaid, not us and why it has taken 4 months for this to come to light. Would not recommend these solicitors at all, had to chase constantly for updates during the conveyancing process and had to send the same forms off numerous times despite being told they'd received them. If I could give 0 stars, I would do.
