We used Ramsdens for our purchase and sale with our recent house move on the back of an introduction from our estate agents. I am a big fan of doing as much as possible digitally so was pleased to hear they had a portal. We used that to initiate the transactions but it wasn’t particularly used after the initial provision of documents which I think is a missed opportunity to easily keep clients updated without the need of phone calls. The purchase was a relatively easy process but the sale of our property was particularly frustrating. I felt I was driving a lot of the communication updates and chasing for responses but the saving grace in all of it was Sam Farrar our Conveyancing Assistant. She was absolutely fabulous, always returning my calls, chasing our buyers solicitors and generally managing the process from start to finish. Genuinely don’t think we’d have completed when we did if it wasn’t for her. Overall we are happy with the service we received and are now happy in our home.

Just wanted to say what a great experience I had dealing with the ramsdens branch in Holmfirth. Lauren &Diana have gone out of their way dealing with the conveyancing, exchange &completion. Nothing was too much trouble and they were in constant contact throughout the whole process.so glad I used this company ,very professional & understanding. I wouldn't hesitate if I needed to use a conveyancing dept again and it would be Ramsdens. Thank you again both😁

The person who was doing this for me was Sophie Costello she was brilliant I could always speak to her and her advice and help was great, Sophie was polite and vary helpful always and had no help or contact with my estate agent William H Brown they were very bad I would not recommended them to any one. I was recommended Ramsden through Bonners. It took me 3 months to talk to my solicitor, Whitehead, directly. Once in touch; she was professional, efficient and very polite. However, after the sale I was issued ANOTHER final statement for an "miscalculated" £2,000. I simply wanted a human apology for this undue stress but I was met with a cold, awful and patronizing response. They overcharge. Have little empathy. Avoid. I am only going to say that Laura Whitehead was good when you could get hold of her. I wish I had gone with Browns in High Wycombe. They are incredible
