I had asked whether the Alpinestars Race Rain jacket was sized to accomodate a fit over race leathers. I am a solid Large in almost everything I wear. After sharing my sizing details an XL was recommended. I could barely get it over my shoulders and the zipper wouldn't connect by about six to eight inches. I was frankly surprised by the lack of knowledge of this product's bizarre sizing quirks.
