We ordered our coop during the first month or so of covid, unfortunately, covid hit Texas hard at the time our coop was scheduled to ship. R&R was nothing but amazing with their communications and setting realistic expectations during a time of such uncertainty. Our coop arrived packaged meticulously and with easy to follow instructions. We love our coop and the hens do as well! Thank you, Dyan and crew at R&R!!

Coop DeVille! Our backyard coop arrived on time and was packaged very well. The directions were clear and with all the included hardware it was easy to follow. My husband and I assembled the entire coop in about 3 hours. Our 8 lovely ladies love their new home! Customer service was excellent. I had a question about why some of our chickens did not want to roost at night and they suggested lowering the roosts. It worked! All 8 sleep nice and tight. I want to get more chickens and another coop!!!

We love our new coop. It is beautiful and it was easy to follow the instructions to put it together. I love that I can easily move it around by myself so that I can change where my chickens are grazing in my yard. We are first time chicken owners and ordered a round top coop. Needless to say we wanted to go with a well built, secure coop that took the guesswork out of creating the perfect home for our chickens Roost and Root has done exactly that for us! The coop is well made and came with easy to follow, extensive, and well thought out instructions. They even provided us with a tool kit that organized all of the hardware we would need down to the drill bits needed! This above and beyond, thorough planning with the newbie customer in mind is what makes Roost and Root so amazing!!! I highly recommend the round top coop and could not be happier with our purchase!

Our chickens love their new coop! And it was easy to put together and well made.

Crap. They sent me a bunch of different sized panels that don’t fit, I can’t rebox it and send it back. That’s the garden box. The hen house looks like it’s made out of scrap wood. Rough, splintery and hard to seal. A giant waste of money. Also, auto food dispenser gets flooded every time it rains. Not what I expected. Garden box unusable. Door to hen house barely fits.

The folks at Roost and Root are always happy to return a phone call, answer an email or question, no matter how trivial. Their customer service is top notch. Will buy from them again.

Love this coop for our girls! It’s sturdy and the ability to walk-in when cleaning is invaluable just for the sake of my back and efficiency. The only reason it’s missing a star is that building it took some real ability, and we felt we had to add a sturdier base to the bottom to keep the sides from straining if the ground shifts or becomes wet. Otherwise, it’s perfect.
