I booked a collection and was told it would be the following Saturday but they couldn't give me a time. I got the boxes together in my dining room - taped, labelled, etc. I waited in all Saturday and nobody came to collect them. No body rang or texted me to say they weren't coming. We were having a family dinner the next day so I moved 13 assorted boxes so we could all sit around the dinner table. I phoned on the Monday, she didn't seem that bothered and asked if I wanted to rebook. I booked the collection for the following Thursday, she couldn't tell me a time. I had told the young woman I had to plan the day so needed to know the day before so I could. The person I spoke to said she'd ring me at 5 the Wednesday night to tell me what time the collection would be. She didn't ring. I rang this morning (Thursday), spoke to the same young woman who didn't comment or acknowledge it was her who was supposed to have rung me the previous night. She told me the time would be between 12 and 2 this afternoon. I have a life and that involves going out and having a middle of the day collection makes that impossible. I have cancelled the collection. I shall get in touch with another local charity and give them the boxes. I am 68 years old with arthritis in my hands so its not easy shifting boxes about. If you say you are going to do something then do it. I'm sure the charity does splendid work - you can see how brilliant they have been in the comments people have posted. But to do splendid work you need splendid money and that comes from people like me. So disappointed.

A massive thank you to everyone involved with the Gullivers take over. I couldn't begin to explain just how much it means to my family and I. The amount of stress and anxiety we feel for days out is beyond measure and they are often cut short or don't happen, however this recent experience, thanks to you, changed that. For the first time in a long time my son was willing to have a go, enjoyed all the water rides, and didn't let his anxiety take over. I felt I could give him the childhood he deserved through this event, while allowing his sibling to enjoy that with him! All staff were accommodating, and friendly and went above and beyond to help when needed. My daughter certainly took a shine to your photographer and pulled all manner of poses for them, which is a wonderful added touch! Once again thank you soo much for this opportunity!

Such a wonderful day organised by The A World UK at Gullivers World. Never had such a calm and accessible family day out. Thank you for providing such an opportunity, we honestly had a perfect day. What this charity does is invaluable to so many families. Thank you The A World UK.

A star for the A world! Without the A world we wouldn’t have been able to experience a day at an amusement park as a family. We’ve been twice now and both days were very well organised and great fun. We are very grateful for the experience and to everyone who made it possible. Many thanks

Amazing experience. Our son was over the moon with the rides at gullivers, it was a happy, stress free day for all of us. Our son was just allowed to be himself and everyone was so lovely.

My family and I have been on 3 Gullivers take over events organised by this fantastic charity. Our 2 autistic daughter's had the best day ever yesterday. Watching them dance along with Gully mouse literally brought tears to my eyes. They could be their own unapologetic, autistic selfs. The reduced numbers make a massive difference and we had very little queueing throughout the day. We had a wonderful fun filled day, the A world even "ordered" the sunshine!! Excellent, caring charity, who go above and beyond to help the autistic community. We've just returned from a takeover event at Gulliver's World, a day out we wouldn't be able to normally go on due to queues, noise and the busy environment. The A World made it possible for us to have the most amazing day out with other families and children who understand without judgement the challenges we often face. Thank you to The A World and all the other families who were there for helping us have one of the best family days out we've ever had. The calm, quieter enviroment with minimal queuing, makes the world of difference. Thank you for all you do to help us.

We all had a fantastic holiday! The caravan was clean and comfortable. And the free added extra’s of Netflix, a larger, more powerful microwave, and the priority pass were very welcomed too.
