The A World are an amazing charity that have provided short breaks for my family including horse riding and recently, a family break to their caravan at Marton Mere. They've been extremely helpful and have fantastic communication. We are truly grateful for the experiences.

Really helpful the person who helped me book a funded holiday was always there to answer any questions i had to ask everything went so smooth and straightforward...honestly my family really enjoyed the holiday stay at Blackpool and its all thanks to these lot for helping familys who have autistic kids 😊

Last week we had an amazing stay at the Haven site Marton Mere. We stayed Monday-Friday with 3 children aged 8, 13 and 11 month old. All 3 had plenty to do on site and loved staying in the caravan. The caravan itself is lovely and clean. We would definitely recommend. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday which we couldn’t have afforded if it wasn’t for the A World!

Chester Zoo ‘into the night’ was a wonderful event that both boys enjoyed. It was obviously much quieter than usual and it was easier to access the viewing areas to look at the animals etc. It was also lovely that the shop remained open after 9pm so we didn’t miss the opportunity to purchase a momento. Member of staff Josh on the river cruise attraction was also particularly great when he was interacting with my son. Thank you AWorld for your advocacy and hard work in making these events so successful as they are so necessary for our families. We have such a long way to go to have truly inclusive environments and attitudes so well done to Chester Zoo also for being willing to host this event. It was such a blessing and we can’t wait for the next one!

We recently attended the Chester zoo take over. I can not thank the A word enough for organising such a thoughtful, inclusive event. It's the most relaxed I have EVER felt taking my son out to an attraction. I had 0 anxiety wondering if something would trigger him in to having a melt down, knowing I was at an autism friendly event with no judgment. I enjoyed every minute as did my son with the restricted numbers, making it easier to get around. I hope to attend more events held by The A World in the future. A heartfelt thank you 😊

We recently went to the Chester Zoo Into the night event with The A World. It was a lovely experience not to have to worry about our sons behaviours or disapproving stares from people and to be around like minded families enjoying their evening. Whilst we didn’t actually see many animals as I think they had going inside My boys both had an amazing time and were so excited to have seen a real elephant and have a lovely walk around the zoo. I’m so grateful for events like this and it means so much for us to be able to do days out that I’m sure many people just take for granted at being able to do.

Fantastic charity. We are so so grateful for the A world. We have been on 3 trips so far, we had never spent so long anywhere on a day out before, because it’s always been so stressful not being able to let our kids be themselves and feeling judged at being different to other families. The A world enables us to feel the same as everyone else, no judgement, everyone just gets it. And we can relax and let our kids be free. Thank you so much

We recently attended a takeover event at Chester Zoo hosted by The A World and it was absolutely wonderful. The numbers were capped so it was quieter and therefore accessible for my family. Entertainment was available but not at all intrusive and easily avoidable for those wanting a quieter experience. I wish we could have an A World takeover at Chester Zoo every week! Please please please have another one soon!
