The training started with 4 weeks classes that were done remotely preceded by a live project that lasted for another 12 weeks. With professional approach to class works and one on one mentor to guide you through the process. Having no prior experience or any related background as a BA, I finished feeling confident and more than ready to start applying for jobs. I had an extremely positive experience during the Project Management Internship at Advance Careers UK. We were taught how to execute the complete Project Delivery Lifecycle from Initiating, Planning, Execution & the Closing of a project, making a complex process very simplified. Each lesson was recorded which was helpful but the Jewel in the Crown was the 12 week training on a live software application. With assistance of dedicated mentors we created a website alongside business analysts, developers and software testers, robustly simulating what you would experience on a live project in the real world. It was an invaluable experience and I would highly recommend it !

As someone who is very sceptical about this kind of services, my review here should not be taken with a pinch of salt, as it is packed with first-hand credible information. I gave this 5-star rating for a VERY GOOD reason. I wish it could be six stars. I am a Web Designer and Developer. I have worked with clients to deliver their web projects. I decided to take the ACU course to be trained as a BUSINESS ANALYST, not knowing what to expect. Oh, dear, did I make the BEST CHOICE. The course content is rich with a hands-on practical approach to solving business problems through IT solutions from the initial stages of consultation, to final product delivery. I learnt how to analyse a business problem, prepare a business case, document requirements, recommend solutions, create user stories, use cases, as well as representing them using Agile methodologies and different flow diagrams. Not to mention, I was able to upload to Jira, and ultimately work on live projects. The program also trains PM (Project Managers) and equip them with first-hand practical knowledge for managing products. The program also involves you working with Project Managers and having meetings periodically to reiterate the product that is being built to offer a real-life solution to a company. The instructors are available 24/7 to answer queries and help through the process. It’s a very engaging process from the beginning to the end. After the program, you still get support, ranging from resume building to interview preparations. I cannot exhaust all the possibilities here. You need to sign up to the program to experience it for yourself. These and lots more made it possible for me to understand my clients more, and I was able to have access to bigger clients in the industry. It was magical. Many who joined in my time, got excellent jobs as BAs, PMs and even Managers without prior knowledge. It’s amazing. I am still in awe.
