The is about the X21R: recharges well. Light is brilliant. I use this for night time walks, is there any other time it needs to be used? Temperature of Minus 2 in Herts, UK on 9th January 2021. IT FAILED! Cut out and left me in danger! IT DOES NOT OPERATE AT -20! IT DOESN'T OPERATE AT -2! The battery indicator was displaying almost full, so IT WAS NOT the battery or user! Got home placed in warm place and bingo light was useable. The carrying strap seems to disconnect (always has) when worn and due to rubbing against clothing or the body! So you invariably have to carry it in your hand! IT's WHEN THINGS are challenging in the environment that you want things to be great! THIS COST £399! YES!! £399 POUNDS! WHEN the temperature drops you want something (advertised as useful at lower temperatures) to WORK! This product its unreliable. I urge you not to buy unless for a summer camping holiday. This product could endanger YOUR LIFE!

Tried to claim on warranty, which seemed to go ok but then was told my issue was out of warranty and speaking to another person after get a replacement part, they then said it was probably the battery caused the issue, after speaking to the second person who was very unhelpful. my issue was the power button screw that stuck to battery compartment came away from housing which i then couldn't get the battery compartment out. after following instructions to use wd40 and to try to pull it out. I use the torch every day and put Duracell batteries in so in cant be a leaky battery as only new batteries had put in a month of two before. The 7 year Warranty is useless unless you get a faulty power button. and will cost you a lot to send back to them. lost all respect for Lenser after be a loyal customer for 10 years and multiple torches. brought from another brand now and wow worth the change.

I had to wait a long time for the MH8 charger to come back in stock but once it was ordered it arrived quickly and in small enviro friendly packet.

I purchased the neo 10r for running, previously having had the neo 4, it's a much brighter light at 600 lumens, although the battery pack appears bulky I haven't noticed it to be so when out on short runs. Handy being rechargeable too. Very pleased with prompt delivery and a free key fob light included.
