BRILLIANT FANTASTIC WHERE DO I START MOVED US BACK FROM PORTUGAL TO THE UK WITH MY BABIES!! Having used John a couple of times to collect furniture to re furnish our new home in the uk and being more than happy with his services (I could not get our belongings back from Portugal because of Covid restrictions) I approached him to not only brings our belongings back from Portugal but my three babies my beloved Portuguese dogs. He was the only one willing to take on the job and was far far cheaper than all the other quotes that were just for our belongings. From start to finish he was so helpful he gave us advise on paperwork needed by customs for both belongings and the dogs, he worked out the best route to go considering two of my dogs suffer from travel sickness, booked the boat, ensured they all had kennels, kept us informed once landing in Spain where he was and when he would arrive, both he and his lovely partner got to know the dogs before loading the van until they had to put them in the cages in the back, ensured that nothing would move in the back so they were safe, on route to the boat stopped every hour or so to make sure they were ok and to relieve themselves, messaged me from time to time with an update because he knew how worried I was about the dogs and this communication continued throughout the 2 day journey. All my belongings arrived safe and sound unpacked swiftly and to my surprise as I am a lousy packer no damage or breakages. As form my dogs they were bounding all over the place obviously happy to see me but clearly fond of John and Gemma which showed me they had clearly looked after them. As they have had little contact with people out there living in the back and beyond it was nice to see the bond they'd formed in a couple of days, a thing that has rarely happened. I would have no hesitation to use John and his company the service I received from him has been second to none (having moved many times). He is professional, trustworthy, honest and I feel goes above and beyond anyone I've used in this service before and doesn't charge the earth like some. At the end of the day a move I was dreading went like a dream. I could not recommend more highly. John is one of the Good Guy's in this game and I WILL be using his services again soon so will my neighbour in Portugal when her house sells. THANKS A MILLION JOHN AND GEMMA xx

Moved us from Downham to Peterborough.. the a1 team couldn’t do enough for us!! They had the house cleared in record time! And did everything they could to make the day stress free! We had a wait at the new house while the former owner sorted some unforeseen issues and the team where amazing!!! Super patient and understanding!! Moved a large parrot cage for me this time! Item was already dismantled for them. They safely wrapped all parts in blankets so that the special bird safe powder coating of the cage wasn't damaged in transit. Once again, very friendly and reliable service from A1, and one very happy customer

Incredible service! I had one removal company move my whole house into storage while I waited for my new house to be built... not only did they chip all my walls but the smashed a lot of my belongings!! A1 however charged me a QUARTER of the price to do exactly the same job... they took photos for me to support me with evidence, not a chip in the walls. So so careful with all my belongings and professional, friendly, IRISH PARTICULARLY was so brilliant and more interested in the condition of your belongings than going home early or waiting for his wages! I honestly could not compliment this company enough having had such an awful experience with “loads for LESS” before hand it was overwhelming to then receive such a professional and genuine service from A1. Later that evening the director called me to check I was happy with the service and also offered me advise. Such a kind extra to the already brilliant service! Refinement!!
