Great product and really good quality! Be aware that these are bloody heavy and take a good few hours to move on your own! 🙄 One comment is to leave more a space to get coping stones out due to the weight and the crate they come in. Great customer service and really helpful.

We have received poor service throughout. We initially placed an order for some porcelain slabs. We ordered the slabs 3+ weeks before we needed them with a specific date to give plenty of time. The slabs weren’t here by mid day on the delivery day so I called. I was informed their systems hadn’t spoken to each other so the delivery wasn’t going to happen for another 48hours even though my money had been taken 3 weeks ago. As a customer I don’t think it is my issue if their systems don’t talk to each other. The slabs turned up 48hours later and they were all fine. I then needed to order 6 more slabs which I did they were due on a Thursday again I called mid day to be told that they were now not due until the Monday. (I had paid £65 delivery) All these delays have cost time and money. The slabs were delivered on the Monday two of them were broken right down the middle. I called and complained and asked for a refund on the delivery, I was told they would send me out two slabs this was at the start of October. I called early October to complain again as I have been in and out of the country. I was told the owner was dealing with my complaint I have heard nothing since. I run my own business so judge others on the standard we set ourselves, if this was the service that my company had provided I would be mortified, we would also be in front of the regulator. I have given up on this complaint being rectified hence the one star review.

Purchased 3 piece hearth and had a bit of a chew on due to first delivery being a country mile away in colour and texture between the 3 slabs. Two Matched and one was a mile off. Cut poorly causing nightmare for fitting. Hearth now has a 5mm joint to one side and a 3mm joint to the other. Had to travel to Hull from Newcastle Upon Tyne to sort out huge colour and texture difference in stone which I was told people want different shades (highly doubt it) and Id have to pay for another piece as mine was custom cut. Slight positive was the guy I dealt with in Hull (not the manager who was emailing me and phoning me) was brilliant and very helpful and did actually replace at no extra cost even though in an email they stated it could not be replaced due to being custom cut but wouldnt use again.

Team were very helpful when we visited(not local so quite a trek) Everything we needed to do 2 patios they provided. Just finished the main patio and the porcelain tiles (Galaxy Grey) are stunning. The cutting service is exceptional - everything was accurate. Once we knew the sizes and cuts we needed ordering online was quick and easy. Delivery was very professional.

Second order but not stocking any more I was informed very disappointed. But very happy with the purchase I have. Would recommend to everyone.

This company delivered great service from the first phone call till the delivery of the great tiles they sold me ! They look great on our fire around . The company that used the tile for our job were absolutely delighted with them . My wife and myself cannot thank Melton Stone enough for tiles and would have no problems in highly recommending .
