My delivery today was atrocious

My delivery today was atrocious. I live in a skyscraper 3rd floor on my own with a heart condition. Driver dumped the carpet roll on the landing beside the lift. When I asked if he was taking it upstairs he said no. I said I had a heart condition he replied what do you want me to do about it. I couldn't get the carpet up the stairs as it was on a cardboard roll. Had to get a neighbour to unroll it then fold it and carry it upstairs. So not a happy person.

Unprofessional scheduling

The company stated on their website that delivery would be fast, taking only 2-5 working days. However, this was not the case; I did not receive my delivery until the seventh day, excluding weekends. Their priority should be to get the product to the customer as quickly as possible. Instead, they waited until the final day of the deadline to ship the product, which I find unprofessional. The administration section of the business needs to be more professional. When it comes to scheduling deliveries stop leaving it until the deadline. The delivery driver was very polite. Order Timeline:** - **18/02/2025:** I placed my order at 8:53 PM. No actions were taken until the following day since the order was submitted after the noon cutoff time. - **19/02/2025:** This marks Day 1 for my first order. As it was placed overnight, it would have been one of the first orders processed in the morning before the noon cutoff. - **19/02/2025:** I placed my second order at 7:57 PM. Since this order was made overnight, no action would have taken place until the next morning. - **20/02/2025:** This is Day 2 for the first order and Day 1 for the second order. The second order, placed the night before, would also be processed in the morning before the noon cutoff. - **21/02/2025:** This is Day 3 for the first order and Day 2 for the second order. - **22/02/2025:** Weekend (no deliveries). - **23/02/2025:** Weekend (no deliveries). - **24/02/2025:** This is Day 4 for the first order and Day 3 for the second order. - **25/02/2025:** This is Day 5 for the first order and Day 4 for the second order. Both orders could potentially be delivered on this date. - **26/02/2025:** This is Day 6 for the first order and Day 5 for the second order.

I have recently bought a carpet with online carpets and it wasn't delivered to my property …

I have recently bought a carpet with this company and was initially very satisfied with the service I received. However, although the carpet was delivered on time the delivery driver dud not actually deliver the carpet to my property. I live in a cottage accessed by a shared driveway that is in constant use. There's ground floor access to my home as well as a gated front garden. When the carpet arrived he greeted me with he was not going to bring the carpet into my house. When I asked why he replied that he was not insured to do so and I should have checked the terms and conditions, which to be fair I hadn't done as I've never previously had any problems with deliveries. When I queried this he replied that he was not going to give me any special treatment which I hadn't in fact asked for. He left the carpet outside of my property on the shared drive. I have explained the problem with customer services at online carpet and was told that as there was no record of our conversation and he was within his rights to not deliver the carpet into our property there is nothing they can do. This is not acceptable to me. I will not be recommending this company in venture.

Had a little back and forth with the company about a refund issue, but they came through in the end with a good and positive resolution with the issue. Happy customer given the conclusion of it all.

I would definitely recommend Online…

I would definitely recommend Online Carpets, as it was my first time ordering sheet vinyl from them, and their company was fantastic from start to finish ie placing my order, to answering their phone, customer service. Along with the quality and price, which was good value. The delivery driver too was fantastic, and helped unload, without complaining. As we are a very difficult address to find, the driver phoned in advance, which was very helpful.

First class all round

I sent off for some samples which arrived very quickly, these were helpful for checking the right thickness and colour. I then ordered 2 carpets and got a order confirmation straightaway. The next day i got another email giving delivery information. Then on delivery day there was a timed delivery with live tracking. The carpets were delivered at 10am and I was able to fit them straightaway. Online carpets are the best it was so easy to order and the constant realtime information emails are fantastic. 5 star service and delivery. I would recommend.
