I booked online and the only room available was a family room. On this basis I paid a bit more than I would normally. I received a call from EB the following day saying that this room was not available but we could have a twin. When I asked I was told that the price would remain the same for a much smaller room.

The member of staff was very helpful and organised extras then phoned me back. An excellent experience.

Easy to use. Once the booking was complete I contacted the Help Centre who contacted the hotel direct and dealt with my request.

Comfortable hotel in quiet setting. Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. Room was excellent and to the front. Recent refurbishments were evident without spoiling the ' old world charm'. Wine with meal was appreciated - - all in all - - Value for money.
