I had quite a good experience with macks. My solicitor Rebecca Montague and her team were really helpful. Although things dragged on due to covid, and everything had to be done over the phone, or by letter, which made my experience slightly annoying at times. I was reasonably happy with the outcome. I would use them again, if needed.

My client interaction with Mrs Alderson at Macks was motivated by a personally disastrous event in which my (by then severely invalid) wife, for whom I was a Carer and to whom I had been married for 47 years, left me to live with our son. Len Mann was absolutely superb. When I called for advice before instructing the firm it was Len who called me back... an actual solicitor and not just somebody to take details and pass them on. This afforded me the opportunity to ask a few questions and actually get some answers instead of being fobbed off by secretarial staff who couldn't answer questions and wouldn't put you through to a solicitor unless you signed up. This firm and Len in particular were prompt, efficient and effective. I really felt like I was informed through every step of the process, nothing was too much trouble, emails and calls were answered if not immediately within the same business day. I felt like Len really had my best interest front and centre and worked hard to get a positive result. Excellent firm, I would choose them again and have already recommended them to others.
