I’ve just passed my Class 2 today!! I’m so happy I finally managed to get it sorted, I’ve wanted to do this for years but never really had the time to do it and what with Covid things got pushed back. I decided to make the jump and start my course this year and I’m glad I did. From the moment I first got in touch with these guys everything was explained to me very well. I always knew what I was doing every step of the way and it was nice to know I had someone on hand at all times if I needed anything. I’m not ashamed to admit I was quite nervous before I started my practical training as I’d never driven a big vehicle before. My Instructor Ian made me feel calm and helped me get to grips with everything. By the time it came to doing my test I felt confident and thankfully managed to get passed first time. I’m looking forward to starting my new career as this is something I’ve wanted to do for so long now. I’ll be coming back to do my C+E. Thank you!

Completed my 35 hour CPC. Was on the course within an hour of registering. Once I finished they helped me with my CV and I’ve now got a job interview lined up. Excited to get back into the industry

Would not personally go with them again just seems like a big con paid £3k to do rigid then artic got told due to lock down my course expired in august thought perfect I have plenty of time to sit it passed my theory in March called to tell them that I had passed to get booked on to rigid to do that test they said I had to be quick as it expired in April now not august so I told them they had to get me booked in asap ended up doing just artic not even been in a rigid passed with a lovely company called Wetherby training would highly recommend them if anyone is around Yorkshire also would save you a lot of money as easy as Hgv are a broker so they pay them a grand less than what you pay I’ve completed my test and asked as I hadn’t sat my rigid that I had paid for if they would refund me for it and got told no as I had done a fast track course even though on my receipt from them it’s states 4 days rigid then test then onto 4 days in a artic then test so they have pocketed the difference also they have rubbish communication told them when I passed my theory I hadn’t sat mod 2 they proceeded to book me in for my mod 4 even though I had told them I hadn’t passed it they then tried to tell me that I’d have to pay for a mod 4 test because I forfeited it that I did it was their mistake All in all I’d save your money and go to a local little Hgv training place Also to add when I first paid my deposit it took nearly 2 weeks for them to send a welcome pack I kept getting told it had been sent but nothing turned up finally I think it was the 6th one turned up after I asked for a refund

Just passed my class 2. It was a great service the whole way through, loads of support and someone was always there to help when I got stuck. Highly recommended.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I would not recommend Easy as hgv for these reasons. 1. It will take over 1 and a half years for you to pass your tests. The examiners and theory tests are fully booked for at least 8 months each in Scotland. You can get an earlier theory if you travel to England. This is due to covid. The backlog is massive and there are no new instructors 2. I should of booked the tests myself and not get a broker saving over £1200. They charge £400 for a practical tests so if you fail and need to resit then it can become very expensive where if I had booked the tests myself then it would only really costs £220. Easy as hgv charge £140 for a resit of your theory where I paid it myself for £48. Overall You would save a lot of cash if you just went to the post office and got the correct forms and send them away. 3. I had to constantly chase them up. Easy as hgv did not let me know when and where my tests were. On the actual day I had to get in touch with them. 4. They lied. They would constantly tell me that they have dates sooner for you however this is not true. I had to wait over 8 months for my theory and over 7 months for my practical. If I had booked it myself I would of got it done in half the time. The examiner has to take on people from other brokers, City Councils, general public so Easy as hgv only get certain Slots and not very many at that. 5. Make. Sure you are 100% committed to this. As soon as you pay Easy as hgv you start to lose money. I asked for a refund after 3 months and they offered me £87. If you READ THEIR SMALL PRINT then every week that goes by you lose a lot of money. After 2/3 months I think roughly then they have the right to keep pretty much all of it. I was not happy. They did not care and tried to get me to take the reduced amount. From £2500 to £87 after 8 - 12 weeks is scandoulous. SAVE TIME AND CASH BY DOING IT YOURSELF. I cannot stress this enough. Goodluck

Their communication and approach was very laid back but supportive. I have just passed my cat c after my 4 days of driving. The package I had was well suited to me as I was a complete novice. I honestly can’t praise them enough for all the help and guidance I got along the way. They have given me a real slingshot into the industry. Ian my trainer was incredible. He was a fountain of knowledge and the training was well drilled and very well run. I can’t recommend them enough! DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER!

I started my journey with Easy as HGV back in November. I was quite dubious to proceed and pay all the money upfront. But after 3 or 4 conversations I bit the bullet and did it! I can hands down say it was the best decision I have ever made. I was made at ease by the constant contact and valid information and advice. I’m not going to lie I am a nervous person anyway and was very anxious about the whole process but mostly the driving. Needless to say I turned up day one and nice clean and well maintained truck. I was met by chris, who eas very friendly but oozed truck driver! He was a very patient man and nervy knowledgeable. I couldn’t ask for more. I did fail first time unfortunately due to some hesitation on my end. It was a bit of a bugger but I knew I did it. Frustrating as it was but had the pass protection and got back in a few weeks later and aced it with 3 minors!

They have been fantastic from the get go. For your normal average joe like me I had no idea where to start. easy as HGV made everything seem less and easy to follow! They supplied everything and booked everything for me. What more could you want? The whole course was a pleasure do and a great environment to learn in. Not only that had my cv all sorted and now I’m on the market for work. I already have 2 interviews for next week and an agency booked me for a trial day on Thursday! Thanks again!
