Really enjoyed the whole course
Really enjoyed the whole course. From the start they made me feel comfortable and managed to pass everything first time. Very happy to recommend them to anyone looking to get a licence. Very well priced as I did a lot of research beforehand. But they seemed to be the only company to care.
They help me with all my training
They help me with all my training. It was a good company to train with and made me very well trained to pass the tests. The online tests for me was the hard part but I did lots of studies to get them passed. The practicing website was very very helpful for me and helped me understand the questions I faced. The driving part was good and friendly instructor who helped me pass 1st time. Although I was concerned with the language barrier he was calm and patience with me so I am happy! The team helped me along the way and at the start really helped me in the right direction. I give 5 stars and a big high five!
EasyasHGV direct class 1 value for money?
I searched Google in November for Class 1 direct courses. EasyasHGV were excellent in explaining what was needed and what they could do. I conducted my own medical and then underwent CPC training arranged by EasyasHGV in December. I also spoke successfully completed my theory/hazard perception. Note - I had to keep contacting admin at Easy to get an earlier course than they were offering. This is because I went on DVLAs own site and found earlier appointments in my area!!! EasyasHGV then told me I was booked onto a practical course at Enfield in April despite promises I would have a course in February as my previous contract completed the end of February. I told Easy I would go anywhere in the country at short notice and eventually they booked me a course in February at Enfield. Did one week of Class 2 training with a great trainer from JSM. Second week I had another great trainer but was shocked that 3 pupils to one vehicle / trainer which meant I did most of my training at night. First day was reversing and coupling because part 3A test was first thing Tuesday! Then had as much training as my instructor could provide (8hrs max) before my test 3b at 8 am on the Thursday. Unfortunately I failed my first 3b but had pass protect so contacted Easy asking for a test asap given I had no income now. They said they would book something soon. I checked DVLA again and there were tests available the next week and I told Easy. However in the end a friend put me in touch with another company and I paid them for a test the following Wednesday which I passed. Easy did refund my test protect money as they still hadn’t booked anything. The support re getting a job was ok re thd writing of a CV but was snd is appalling after that. No introduction to companies just links to indeed!!!!! Overall cost around £4.5k which is about £2k overpriced compared to good training schools direct. I would not recommend them as many of the promises were not meet unless I pushed hard. They do not support you once you have your licence and they are just a broker so much cheaper and better for you to go through a school. With regard to direct entry - a waste of time as no company will touch you without experience. If I had my time again I would go class 2 first through a school. The people at easy were nice when you did eventually get hold of them( they don’t answer the phone unless it’s sales!) I don’t think they deliberately are inefficient it’s just they have no more control over sections of the course than you do personally.
