I ordered £2400 of bathroom stuff in September for delivery in November. It arrived in various boxes, shrink wrapped together on a pallet. I carried each box into my house and left them out of the way until my work started at the end of November. When I opened the box containing the £380 basin I was surprised to see there was zero padding. Just shrink wrap. Peeling part of that back I could see about a third of the basin was cracked off from the rest (I later spotted there aren't even "Fragile" stickers on the box, even though there are for other non-fragile items. They claim on their website "We take every precaution to ensure that your order arrives with you in perfect condition, our warehouse will pack your order suitably" - Ha!) I sent pictures to Park Street Bathrooms clearly showing the internal shrink wrap was still intact and the huge crack in the basin. The response: Tough. I didn't report this to them within five days of receipt, so it's down to me. I was then offered a goodwill discount on a replacement. But the price for a replacement they then quoted me was actually MORE than the price I had paid them for the first broken basin. It's like they are actually trying to profiteer from customers who need something urgently because their work has started. In short: they don't package their stuff properly and then treat their customers very badly when there are breakages. The silver lining: I found a replacement for quite a bit less elsewhere. ETA: the response below amounts to “Yeah. Whatever.” The reality is that they *could* have resolved this issue. They just chose not to. Buyer beware.
