when i first apply for salary account it toke them for ever to open the account and to send me the account details, talking to the customer services is like a dream, it almost impossible to reach a customer services employee, even when you reach you will get all the answers you want, even when you go to any branch you wait for ever to get to speak with an employee, sometimes you reach a branch but they tell you they don't do customer service in this branch and send you somewhere else, i was forced with this bank, but i will quit banking with CBQ ASAP.

Only answering machine and it will take to al lot of option in which all you need is to talk directly to their customer representative to answer your queries

I am writing as if I am waiting for last 2 and half hours to get talked with customer service . And still in a queue , moving very very slow . I can’t understand isn’t it way much , though I understand it a COVID times. Very frustrated @ citycentre branch .
Commercial bank of Qatar - the worst
Commercial bank of Qatar is by far the worst bank I have dealt with. Late charges and fees come out of nowhere. The mobile banking or the server they have at the bank is not working properly, with a result they do not have a clear view of outstanding balances and payments and start charging late fees because their own system did not capture a payment. Customer service is also by far the worst. There is zero communication, they speak like robots and do not understand your requests, then they say send an email where it is even worse because first there is not reply option to be able to continue a conversation about a complaint and then they reply to emails without investigating the problem at all since they keep on replying the same things no matter what you say. I will never have an account again with them and I am closing all of my current accounts there very soon.

CBQ is by far the worst bank I have ever had to deal with. In my country their customer service would lead to them going out of business, I am not sure why it is tolerated in Qatar. Lots of plain rude customer service.
