After reading such positive reviews here about the customer service at Presto it’s hard to understand why they treated me so poorly. I ordered what was listed on the Presto Classical website as a Super Audio CD (SACD) of a particular recording, but received a standard CD version of this work instead, which was not as described in the listing. If I had known it was not an SACD they were selling I would not have purchased it. I emailed customer service about this and after an initial reply heard no more from them. I sent a number of emails hoping to find out what they were going to do about the matter. These emails were unacknowledged by them. The least I was expecting was for them to admit that they had made a mistake in the listing description and apologise to me, a discount off my next purchase would have been nice. Not replying to customer emails is poor customer service practice in my opinion. Having been a customer of Presto for 7 years now and having spent over $2000 with them this episode has left a sour taste in my mouth!

CD Pricing
Would be interested to know what’s happened to Harmonia Mundi CD pricing policy - can Presto throw any light on it? These days, what are the bandings for full price, medium price and budget price? Are these bandings still relevant?
The Usual Great Customer Service
My family have been customers of Presto Music since it opened in the 1980s and our most recent experience of buying a Yamaha electric piano is a great example of why. Duncan made the whole process accessible, and worry-free, for my older family member. He took care of every aspect: delivery, set-up, showing her how to use it and even removing packaging so that she has just been able to get on with enjoying her new piano. The whole process has been made a pleasure by Presto Music, when it so easily could have been too daunting for her to embark on.
Service from Presto Music is always excellent
Service from Presto Music is always very efficient and prompt, and I use them regularly for most of my sheet music needs. Their monthly offers on specific music publishers are also very useful, much used in the past.
No download files present
I've downloaded various works as mp3 files with no problem. However, today I went through the ordering process for an album which I downloaded, and despite repeated download attempts, it isn't on my Android filesystem, and the only way I can hear it is streamed through the Presto app. I want my files! Please advise.

This is customer service at its best
I use Presto quite widely and always enjoy excellent service. If they've got it I receive it promptly, if not they get it and keep me posted on progress. On my latest delivery there was a faulty CD : I rang in to report the problem, and after an entirely positive call,within10 minutes, I received confirmation of a replacement having been dispatched. This is customer service at its best.

Excellent in more ways than one.
I have been buying from Presto for some time, and their delivery is always prompt and accurate. Earlier this year I bought myself a present of their streaming service. Wonderful!
