We used Armishaws this week for a pack and move service between Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. They only sent two personnel to pack and move a 3 bedroom house; but PAUL and MARTIN were great!! They worked quickly, efficiently but carefully through our house and safely delivered our stuff the next day with no breakages. Polite, hard-working and careful, I would highly commend PAUL and MARTIN, and recommend Armishaws.

Earlier this year I moved from the West Country. Everything went very smoothly for the first half of my move. The team who came to pack and remove to storage in Wincanton was good. The problems began when I wanted to move from storage to my new home. It was difficult to get a date for removal. Calls and emails were either ignored or promises not fulfilled. I had been told the original quoted price would be honoured but I was ultimately sent a new invoice which was higher than the original one. The reason given was that more than three months had elapsed. I was sent three copies of T’s & C’s all of which had the relevant section overprinted so couldn’t be read but this was not acknowledged. There was no adjustment made for the fact that there were fewer crates than originally quoted for. Sadly, conversations were extremely acrimonious. At one point the threat was made that my belongings would not be delivered! All of which left me angry and extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism by some individuals. Hence my two star rating. At 85 I do not expect to be moving again but if I do I shall not be dealing with Armishaws. PS 08 08 2023 I’m still waiting to be contacted by Armishaws as promised in their reply to my original post! Need I say more?

Moving house after 22 years is a stressful time but choosing Armishaws made the week an extremely smooth experience. The care Mike, Taylor and Deane went about packing and moving all our possessions into the lorry and trailer was extremely professional. Their work ethos was a real stand out and they never seemed to stop! We left Surrey confident that all our belongings were safely packed and stowed for the journey down to Devon. On the morning of our move into new home Mike skilfully manoeuvred the lorry and trailer to the house and with Taylor they began unloading all the packed boxes, furniture etc with the same care and pace they had packed them up. Again they were fully focused and amazingly finished within 2 days! 2 weeks later we are still unpacking and can’t fault the packing of our most fragile of items. Thank you to Mike, Taylor and Dean and for Armishaws professional approach to removals.

So had our removals booked through Armishaws, the date of removals arrived and right on que the removals truck arrived if not a good half an hour early, I was met by Mike Taylor who was swift and professional throughout.

I cannot praise the team of Phil and Gary enough. They arrived on time, having rung me the night before to tell me the arrival time, they were fast, friendly and efficient. The whole experience was good. It is a scary experience moving from one country to another but they made it easy.

The crew has done the fantastic job. Friendly, helpful and certainly knew the family requirements.

At 87 Mum was anxious about the move, but Dave, Toby and Luke couldn’t have done more to make the move go smoothly…they were fantastic, friendly, efficient and even in the rain still managed a smile. Will definitely recommend Armishaws
